Soulja Boy
Soulja Boy and his alleged ex-girlfriend asked potential jurors in their legal battle whether they had a positive or negative opinion on the rapper ahead of trial, In Touch can exclusively report.
In Touch obtained the joint juror questionnaire submitted by Soulja and Jane Doe, the woman who sued the rapper in 2021 over alleged sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, hostile work environment, emotional distress and wage violations.
Soulja, whose real name is DeAndre Way, has denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
The jury members, who were recently selected, were asked a series of questions about their past and their opinions on topics.

The men and women were questioned on whether they had been sued or sued anyone in the past. They were also asked if they knew Soulja Boy, and if they had they were asked to provide their opinion on him.
The potential jurors were asked if they or anyone they knew had been accused of assault and their view on people who make false claims of harassment.
In addition, they had to answer whether they had ever experienced assault and if they had strong feelings about celebrities being accused of “acts like the ones addressed in the lawsuit.”
The parties were able to lock down a jury, and the trial was scheduled to start on Monday, March 17.
As In Touch previously reported, Jane has not revealed her name in court and has used the pseudonym since she filed the lawsuit. In her suit, she claimed she started working as Soulja’s personal assistant in December 2018.
She said she often worked seven days a week, 20 hours a day. Jane said her duties included cleaning, cooking, handling travel and various other requests. The suit said the duo agreed she would be paid $500 a week.
She claimed Soulja sent her an unsolicited photo of his penis within her first month on the job. Jane said the two ended up in a romantic relationship. In court documents, Jane claimed after they started the relationship, the rapper treated her “abusively and violent.”
She claimed Soulja kicked and punched her on occasions, spit on her and made threats of physical violence and death.

“On numerous occasions, and sometimes twice in the same day, [Soulja] would inappropriately touch [Jane’s] body, forcefully pull her pants off, and raped her,” Jane’s lawyer wrote in the complaint.
“On or around May of 2019, [Soulja] violently grabbed [Jane’s] cell phone after she indicated she wanted to quit and spit on her. At that time, [Jane] believed she was in love with [Soulja] and was placated to remain in this toxic relationship by [Soulja] who would often state ‘I didn’t mean it,’” the suit read.
In the lawsuit, Jane claimed Soulja would often assault her when he got jealous and even allegedly told her “I should have killed you” after one attack. Jane also said Soulja kept her locked in a room against her will for three days.
She said the room had no hot water. Jane claimed Soulja did this after she told him she wanted to quit and leave.
Jane claimed Soulja was able to convince her to stay and not leave him, despite allegedly being locked in the room for days. Soulja denied he assaulted Jane or that she was ever his employee.
In a recent filing, he argued they had a “consensual, intimate relationship for approximately a year before it dissolved.”
Further, his lawyer argued, “With respect to all causes of action, without admitting that any particular action or conduct occurred, upon information and belief, any and all alleged action or conduct [Jane] claims is illegal or improper, occurred, if at all, with [Jane’s] s consent.”
