‘Sister Wives’ Star Janelle Brown Debuts First Boyfriend Since Kody Brown Split: ‘Wasn’t Expecting You’

Janelle Brown has a new love in her life!

On Tuesday, August 18, the Sister Wives star, 57, posted a photo on Instagram of herself and a man with their arms around each other, smiling outdoors. The reality TV personality hard-launched her relationship, revealing in her caption that the man is her boyfriend.

“Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they’re shared. I wasn’t looking. I certainly wasn’t expecting you. And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed,” she penned. “And it has been pretty wonderful. 🩷 Everyone please meet Pete.”

Fans took to the comment section, shocked and excited for Janelle.

As In Touch readers know, Janelle was in a spiritual marriage with Kody Brown from 1993 until they split in 2022. They welcomed six children: daughters Maddie, 30, and Savannah, 21, and sons Logan, 32, Hunter, 29, Gabriel, 24, and Garrison, who took his own life on March 5, 2024, at the age of 25.

Janelle recently started a new life for herself. She finally moved into her North Carolina home in March, per a video shared on Instagram. The home is on a plot of land she purchased in 2024 with her daughter Maddie and son-in-law Caleb Brush, according to People. Janelle previously lived in Arizona.
