Sister Wives stars Christine Brown and Janelle Brown claimed that ex-husband Kody Brown “attacked” them when it came to what their weak spots.

In a teaser clip for the Sunday, June 8, part 3 episode of Sister Wives: One-on-One shared by Us Weekly, Janelle, 56, claimed that that Kody, 56, “attacked all of his wives that are leaving in the area that hurts them the most or that they pride [themselves on] or that they value.”

When it came to her own personal experience, the mother of six said that Kody was “always telling everybody that I was somehow calling the shots on the money” because he knew it would upset her.

“I’m one of those people who wants to be very fiscally responsible and very about, like, ‘Let’s be responsible with our money,’” she explained. “So, he wants to, like, sort of undermine that or try to undermine that for me.”

Janelle continued, “It’s wild to me that he was telling everybody that I was in charge.”

Meanwhile, Christine, 53, confirmed that Kody knew it would hurt Janelle to put the financial blame on her. “With her, with finances, [he was] knocking her down so she doesn’t feel smart,” she said in the clip. “That’s rude. He knows the buttons to push.”

As for her own issues with Kody, Christine claimed that her ex weaponized her desires for physical intimacy during their marriage.

“For Christine, it was devastating that he wasn’t physically attracted to her,” Janelle said, and Christine confirmed that the comment was true.

Christine chimed in, “With me, it was like, ‘No, we’re not going to be intimate anymore.’ Then he’d be like, ‘Well, you know, you could do this and you could do this’ … and put it all on everybody else.”

“He knows how to push the buttons, but he doesn’t know how to take accountability for the fact that he just pushed a button,” she added.

After host Sukanya Krishnan stated that Kody knew what his ex-wives’ “weaknesses” were, Christine responded, “Yeah, isn’t that so sad? And he uses them against you. Like, he knew what I crave more than anything would have been, like, an intimate romantic marriage and relationship.”

Christine was the first of Kody’s wives to leave him in November 2021, and Janelle followed suit one year later in December 2022. Meanwhile, Kody and Meri Brown confirmed their decision to part ways in a joint statement issued in January 2023. In light of the splits, Kody’s last remaining wife is Robyn Brown.

Fans previously watched Kody blame Janelle for the family’s financial issues during season 19. At one point, Kody claimed that Janelle was in charge of the family’s finances because she was tasked with recording their spending and sending it to an accountant.

However, Janelle denied the claim during a November 2024 episode and said she would’ve “paid off” and “built a house” on their Coyote Pass property in Flagstaff, Arizona, if she were actually in charge of the finances.
