Sister Wives star Christine Brown shut down rumors that there’s trouble in paradise for her and husband David Woolley.

Christine, 52, took to Instagram on Wednesday, February 12, to share a video that began with a photo of herself smiling. “When I read that David and I are not happy,” text on the screen read before Christine shared several photos and videos of her and David smiling and having fun together.

“I’m always surprised with what I read about myself!” she wrote in the caption of the post, referencing the rumors of marital woes. ”Don’t you worry, we couldn’t be happier.”

The TLC personality continued to insist that she and David, 61, are on great terms by using the hashtags “no problems here,” “he’s stuck with me” and “soulmate.”

Shortly after Christine clapped back at the speculation, several fans rushed to the comments section to applaud her and David for making light of the situation. “You’ve truly never looked happier, a joy you couldn’t fake even if you tried! So happy for you,” one person commented. Another chimed in, “Only you guys know the truth but it’s shining out of you both like sunshine!”

Meanwhile, other social media users encouraged the couple to ignore online trolls in light of the rumors. “There’s always the haters hun, super happy for you and David, you both are perfect for each other and it’s great to see you so happy,” a third person commented, and another added, “Y’all are just Magic! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”

Fans first got to know Christine through her marriage to ex-husband Kody Brown. She left Kody, 56, in November 2021 after 25 years of spiritual marriage, and later hard launched her romance with David in February 2023. The couple got engaged in April of that year, and they tied the knot in October 2023.

Despite being married for more than one year, the early days of their relationship and wedding planning process has been playing out on recent episodes of Sister Wives. During the October 27, 2024, episode, Christine explained why Kody and her former sister wives Meri Brown and Robyn Brown weren’t invited to her and David’s wedding.

“We’ll invite Janelle [Brown] to our wedding, Janelle’s kids,” the reality star said about her former sister wife, who she has remained close to following their respective splits from Kody. “Leon [Brown], for sure, Meri’s child. I am not ready to be around Meri and Robyn and Kody yet.”

Christine has made it clear that David is the love of her life, and she has had no problem comparing her relationship with her current husband to the one she had with Kody.

During the November 17, 2024, episode, Christine admitted she “never felt like this before” in a relationship after David proposed. “Never been this much in love either,” she added.

“I never loved Kody as much as I love David,” the mother of six continued. “Was never in love with Kody like I’m in love with David. Never.”
