Halle Bailey submitted an alleged text she sent to her ex, and father to her son, DDG, into evidence as part of her plea for a restraining order against him, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Halle, 25, said she went on a short vacation with her sister for Mother’s Day weekend from May 9 to May 11.

She said DDG (real name: Darryl Grandberry Jr.) accused her of being with other men and posting about her relationship with other men.

She said DDG, 27, sent her social media posts that claimed Halle was hanging out with musician Brent Faiyaz.

She attached an alleged text from DDG stating, “u think u hurting my feelings when u really just ruining your own image. This is a terrible look. Makes u look disgusting and evil. Enjoy your vacation. Happy mother’s day. But just know the same energy when it’s my turn to have him. I’m on the same shit.”

Halle attached the alleged message she wrote back to DDG.

It read, “Darryl, are you not tired of harassing me? you make up a new lie on me everyday … I’m in st lucia having fun with Shermay and Chloe. Not with any man out here. I wouldn’t do that, I have Halo. I told ur (sic) mom I was gonna be with my sister last week… please let me enjoy my mother’s day in peace. Hope you are okay and feel better soon.”

The screenshot showed Halle saved DDG in her phone under “bd.” In Touch reached out to a rep for DDG about the allegations but have not heard back.

In court documents, Halle described another alleged incident with DDG on January 18.

She said he came over to her home to get Halo but refused to tell her when he was returning. She said she tried to help put Halo in his car seat but DDG told her “Get out of my car bitch.” Halle said she repeatedly pleaded with him not to call her a bitch. She claimed the argument turned physical.

She said, “We fought each other, wrestling and tussling.”

“At one point, Darryl was pulling my hair. He then slammed my face on the steering wheel, causing my tooth to get chipped. I then stopped fighting back as I was in a lot of pain,” she said.

She attached photos of her alleged damaged tooth and bruises. In her filing, Halle detailed an alleged incident on March 7.

She said her and Halo were sick with RSV at her home. She said DDG came over to her home. Halle said she made it clear she did not want Halo leaving the home.

“When I told Darryl that, he became very angry with me. He raised his voice and became verbally abusive toward me, hurling bad names at me. He then saw that the Ring camera was recording; he unplugged the Ring camera, opened the side door and threw the Ring camera out of my home,” Halle said.

The actress said DDG then locked her out of her home for a brief period.

In her petition, Halle described various other incidents of alleged abuse by DDG. He has yet to respond to the allegations.

As In Touch first reported, on Tuesday, May 13, Halle filed a petition for protection from DDG. She claimed the Twitch streamer, who she dated from early 2022 to late 2024, had been physically and emotionally abusive during their relationship.

The actress claimed DDG has been making false claims about her withholding their son, Halo, from him, leading to her being harassed and receiving threats. The judge granted Halle a temporary restraining order and set a hearing for June to determine whether to make the order permanent.
