Savannah Guthrie is putting out another public plea for help in finding her missing 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, whose whereabouts remain unknown.
On Tuesday, February 24, the Today anchor, 54, posted a new video message on Instagram revealing that the Guthrie family is now offering a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to the recovery of Nancy, whom Savannah acknowledged may be dead.
Explaining that it is now “Day 24 since our mom was taken from the dark of night in her bed,” Savannah told her followers that “every hour and minute — and second and every long night — has been agony” since February 1.
After thanking fans, friends and followers for their ongoing prayers and support, she said that her family still believes “in a miracle,” adding: “We still believe that she can come home — hope begets hope. As my sister says, we are blowing on the embers of hope.”

Savannah then acknowledged the hard truth that her mother — who needs daily medication and has difficulty walking — may already be dead.
“We also know that she may be lost,” she said. “She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother, Pierce, and with our daddy. If this is what is to be, then we will accept it. But we need to know where she is.”
“We need her to come home,” Savannah continued. “For that reason, we are offering a family reward of up to $1 million for any information that leads us to her recovery.”
Though the ongoing search has thus far yielded zero suspects in the case, Savannah noted, “Someone out there knows something that can bring her home. Somebody knows, and we are begging you to please come forward now.”
In addition to the reward money, Savannah said that she and her family are donating $500,000 to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children “for their work in helping families who are coping with loss and are actively looking for those who are lost.”
“We are hoping that the attention that has been given to our mom and our family will extend to all of the families like ours who are in need and need prayers and need support,” she explained. “So please, if you hear this message, if you’ve been waiting and you haven’t been sure, let this be your sign to come forward. Tell what you know and help us bring our beloved mom home so that we can either celebrate a glorious miraculous homecoming or celebrate the beautiful, brave and courageous and noble life that she has lived.”

In the caption of Savannah’s post, she provided the information to the FBI’s reward page. They are offering $100,000 for information leading to the location of Nancy “and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.”
An anonymous donor also reportedly matched the reward amount, which now stands at over $200,000.
Nancy was reported missing on February 1 by family members. Video footage released by authorities show a masked and “armed individual” appearing to tamper with the camera at Nancy’s front door the morning of her disappearance. She is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds; she has brown hair and blue eyes.
