Rondell Sheridan Reveals Severe Pancreatitis Condition
“Hey friends, it’s Ronde Sheridan here. On April 10, [2025], I was on the road and got sick, went to the hospital, and they thought it was gastric,” Rondell said in a video via Instagram as he laid in a hospital bed with shortness of breath. “I got home on the 12th, I immediately went to the hospital at Northridge and was told it’s pancreatitis.”
The former Disney dad had “a ton of tests” run during his nine-day hospital stay and was released.
“I thought I was on the road to recovery, but I was just for observation. My pancreas is inflamed and there’s not much you can do about it but just wait for the inflammation to go down. I didn’t realize that I was gonna be and will be out of work for quite some time.”

Since Rondell has no choice but to step away from work obligations, he created a GoFundMe campaign to help cover some of his “medical bills and expenses.”
Fans and former colleagues gave Rondell their best wishes in the comments section of the post.
One person, who also has chronic pancreatitis, wrote, “I am so sorry you have to experience this. It’s a long road, but you’ll make it through my friend.”
Another social media user commented, “You were incredibly kind to me on our tour in New Zealand on the Sun Princess in 2009. Wishing you a speedy recovery.”
Rondell Sheridan’s GoFundMe Campaign Update Amid Severe Pancreatitis Condition
The Cory in the House actor’s friend, Isabel Beyoso, created the GoFundMe account and shared that Rondell was hospitalized twice in April and has been required to stop working while focusing on his recovery.
“The doctors have said he just has to wait for his pancreas to do what it’s going to do before any further treatment can be considered, and in the meantime, he will be mostly bedridden, while in recovery,” the GoFundMe description reads. “If we can all come together to help him financially for his medical and monthly bills while his body heals, I know this will be one giant stress we can collectively take off his shoulders, so that he can focus on resting, recovering, and healing. Every little bit helps and he appreciates you immensely.”
As of May 7, 2025, the $35,000 goal was surpassed, and Rondell received a total of $38,373 in donations.
One of the top contributors on donor’s list was Nickelodeon-turned-Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson. The comedian donated $7,000 to his fellow Hollywood actor.
