Halle Bailey filed an emotional declaration as part of her plea for a restraining order against her ex, and father to her son, accusing him of abuse, causing chaos and ruining the Met Gala for her with his alleged antics, In Touch can exclusively report.

In Touch obtained the declaration Halle, 25, filed on Monday, Tuesday 13.

In her petition, Halle asked the court to order DDG (real name: Darryl Granberry Jr.) to stay 100 yards away from her and their son, Halo, born in December 2023. Halle slammed DDG for his alleged recent actions.

“Darryl lacks an understanding of how his actions impact Halo. He is often verbally abusive to me in front of Halo,” Halle said.

She added, “He often demands to see Halo when it suits him yet leaves Halo with his mother while he travels.”

She continued, “He will not communicate with me about a proper schedule for Halo.”

Halle asked the court for permission to take Halo to Italy, where she will be filming a movie for two months. “I have family and a nanny who will be traveling with me to care for Halo while I am working,” she told the court.

The entertainer asked that Darryl be ordered to cease and desist from posting or streaming about Halo or her.

She said he is a “YouTube and Twitch blogger and creates a fan frenzy by making false accusations about me.”

She added, “This has caused me to feel afraid and victimized. His fans then threaten me. I am often scared for my life and Halo’s safety.”

In her declaration, Halle explained she dated DDG from 2022 to the end of 2024. She said, “Darryl has been and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally … abusive to me.”

She said, “Whenever he wishes to cause upset, he starts badmouthing me to his several millions of fans. He claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then receive threats and hate on social media. He seems to try to set up drama for his fans. He goes on ‘live’ ranting about me and alleges that I am keeping Halo from him. This is false. I have requested a set schedule, which he refuses.”

Halle explained, “I am a public figure and am subject to public scrutiny and hate. As recently as this morning, May 13, Darryl was giving an interview in Miami on TikTok talking about our son, flipping the script claiming he is getting ‘hated on’ by fans. To be clear, I do not go on social media discussing our relationship or any of our issues related to our son; only he does that.”

“I have asked him to stop this behavior. He continues. He gets paid for hits and this creates hits for him,” she said.

She said their relationship ended in 2024 because of DDG’s “temper and lack of respect towards me.”

She added, “He often calls me profanities, including bitch. He often called me ‘evil.’”

Halle said she has had issues with DDG regarding custody ever since their split. She said he makes last minute demands but will not commit to a regular schedule.

“I never know when I will get Halo back or where he will be,” she said.

She recalled an alleged incident on January 18, where she said DDG came to her home to get their son. She said she was helping put Halo in the car sear.

Halle said he told her, “Get out of my car bitch,” while Halo was crying. “I repeatedly pleaded with him to stop calling me a bitch. I felt very nervous that he was taking Halo with him and was very agitated; I did not feel safe leaving a baby with him in this state. I also wanted to know when he would bring Halo back. He would not tell me.”

Halle said the argument escalated, which led to things getting physical between them.

She said they fought each other, wrestled and tussled.

“At one point, Darryl was pulling my hair. He then slammed my face on the steering wheel, causing my tooth to be chipped. I then stopped fighting back as I was in a lot of pain.”

The actress said she left Halo with DDG’s family and left.

She attached photos of her alleged damaged tooth and bruises.

On March 3, she claimed DDG had Halo.

She said when she was away from home, DDG came to her home and entered “my home without my permission.”

She said he does not have a key. Halle said she had Ring footage that showed DDG entering her sliding door on the side of her home and going upstairs.

She said her ex went into her bedroom and took a photo of her empty bed. “Now I know what u been on lol,” Halle said he texted her with the photo.

A couple of days later, Halle said DDG came over again while her and Halo were sick.

She said she made it clear she didn’t want Halo to leave, which caused him to be upset.

“He raised his voice and became verbally abusive toward me, hurling bad names at me. She said this led to DDG locking her out of her home.

She said he grabbed her phone and threw it out of his car while he drove off. “Go get it bitch,” Halle claimed he told her.

She said she filed a police report after the incident.

“This lack of schedule and Darryl’s random demands cause me great distress. I am a singer and actress. I am often on set or having to arrange my schedule ahead of time. I must be able to work. People threatening me, and this creates fear for me.”

On May 5, the night of the Met Gala, “Darryl started up again online.” She said, “He went on his Twitch channel voicing that he was unable to see his son, implying that I was keeping Halo from him.”

Halle said he created a “firestorm of media” around “freeing Halo” from her. “I could not concentrate or be present at the Met Gala, I was worried about the situation again.”

Halle said, “I have noticed a pattern of Darryl doing this when I have events related to my career, although I am trying to work hard to provide for our son.”

Halle claimed DDG caused issues when she went on a short vacation with her sister. She said he accused her of being with other men and posting about her relationship with other men. She said she texted him denying his claims.

“I cannot allow this abuse any longer,” Halle wrote. “I cannot keep living like this. I never know when he is going to demand our son be in his mother’s care and whether I will be subjected to his threats and abuse.”

The judge granted Halle a temporary restraining order until a hearing in June. DDG has yet to respond to the claims.
