Pamela Anderson wishes she had a better connection with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee.

“They hardly speak anymore,” a source exclusively tells In Touch about the exes. “Pam doesn’t even know why she and Tommy aren’t talking at the moment, but she’s hoping to repair the relationship.”

The former Baywatch star, 55, married the Mötley Crüe drummer, 65, in February 1995, just four days into a Cancún, Mexico, getaway. At the time of their vacation, which marked only their second official meeting, Pamela knew very little about her new husband — including his last name and where he lived.

“On the flight home, I asked him what our last name was, and he said, ‘Lee,'” the actress wrote in her 2023 memoir, Love, Pamela. “I said, ‘Oh, I thought it was Tommy Lee … something. Jones?'”

Despite their whirlwind romance, the pair ended their marriage after three years together, during which they welcomed two sons: Brandon Thomas Lee in June 1996 and Dylan Jagger Lee in December 1997.

Tommy and Pam have rekindled their romance numerous times over the years, but have kept it cordial to coparent their children. The exes’ youngest son proposed to his interior designer girlfriend, Paula Bruss, last summer and insiders say all Pamela really wants from her ex is “to one day be able to peacefully co-grandparent with him.”

“Pam’s not looking to hang out and be buddy-buddy with Tommy. She knows he has his own life to live,” concludes the source.

The Barb Wire actress spoke about her current dynamic with Tommy when she appeared on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live on January 9 to promote her new movie, The Last Showgirl. She admitted that she and her ex were not speaking as often as they had in previous years.

When asked by Andy Cohen if she and Tommy remain “capisce,” she replied, “I mean, we used to talk a lot more. Not recently, unfortunately, but you know, I wish we did have a better rapport right now.”

She continued, “My youngest son is engaged and we’re gonna have grandkids together. It’ll be OK, eventually. It’s just kind of a moment right now.”

Pamela has remarried several times since her split from the father of her two children. After her divorce from Tommy Lee, she was married to another rockstar, Kid Rock, from 2006 to 2007.

That same year, she wed professional poker player Rick Salomon, but their marriage was annulled by March 2008. The two remarried in 2014, only to divorce again the same year. In 2020, Pamela was widely reported to have married Jon Peters for just 12 days, though she later clarified on “The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter” podcast that they never officially tied the knot. In January 2021, she announced her marriage to her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst, but by January 2022, a representative for the actress confirmed to People that the couple had split.

Meanwhile, Tommy Lee has been married to comedian Brittany Furlan since 2019 after first connecting on the celebrity dating app Raya.
