Naked and Afraid Last One Standing female competitors
The toughest season yet of Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing brings some of show’s top survivalists together in the ultimate competition. In Touch breaks down all you need to know about season 3, including the cast, location, premiere date and more.
What Is ‘Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing’?
The show premiered in 2023 featuring 12 competitors in South Africa’s Oribi Gorge for the 45-day challenge. Season 2 returned to South Africa and season 3 has a new location and biggest cast.
For the first time ever, the show is bringing together 14 competitors who will test their survival skills for a $100,000 prize. The winner will also receive the coveted 10.0 Primitive Survival Rating (PSR).
All of those chosen for the show have successfully completed at least two prior Naked and Afraid challenges.
The competition will include head-to-head and multiphase challenges. The survivalists “will face heartbreaking medical tap outs, legacy-defining moments and the most shocking elimination ever seen in the franchise,” Warner Bros. promised in an April 18, 2025, press release.
What Is the Location for ‘Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing’?
Producers chose the unforgiving Australian Outback, which is known for its scorching temperatures by day, freezing cold nights, barren landscape and deadly snakes.
As usual, competitors go into the game with no food, but they’ll have the opportunity to attempt to kill the lethal taipan snake, as well as more protein-filled 250-pound wild boars if their hunting skills are top notch.
Who Is Competing on ‘Naked and Afraid: Last One Standing’?
Naked and Afraid legend Matt Wright heads into the competition with the highest number of days survived in the wild on the show with 252. The custom knife maker and survival instructor has taken part in eight previous challenges, including Naked and Afraid: Savage, Naked and Afraid XL and six more challenges.
