If you watched the 2019 Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday, November 13, you may have noticed that exes Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton both attended, and it got a little awkward when the “Tin Man” singer’s ex-husband performed.

“During Blake’s performance, Miranda was bopping around a bit to the tune, but not so much her husband,” a source exclusively told In Touch, referring to Miranda’s beau, Brendan McLoughlin. “Almost everyone gave a standing ovation when Blake finished but they did not stand. Everyone else in their row did. They did clap, though. But did not stand.”

However, just because Miranda may have bopped her head a bit, doesn’t mean she was all that interested in watching Blake on stage. “Blake just performed with Garth Brooks and Miranda wasn’t paying attention at all,” the insider added. “She was talking to someone sitting near her and looking away most the time. She clapped out of courtesy but seemed awkward and didn’t want to focus on the performance at all.”

Just before Blake, Miranda was the one at the center of attention performing “It All Comes Out in the Wash.” The onlooker also revealed that while Miranda was onstage doing her thing, Blake and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, did not give her a standing ovation. But they did get up from their seats for Reba McEntire, who performed after the blonde beauty. “Half of the people” seated by Gwen and Blake did stand up, unlike them, the source added.

Though it’s been a while since Miranda and Blake were an item, it doesn’t make it any less awkward. The two split in 2015 after roughly nine years together. “This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately,” the former flames’ reps told Us Weekly in a joint statement when announcing their breakup. “We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”

Now, Blake has happily moved on with Gwen, who he’s dated for four years. On the other hand, Miranda and Brendan have been married since February 2019.
