Why so sad? Little People, Big World fans still can’t come to terms with the fact that the main stars of the show — Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff — and no longer a couple. Their split was documented on their family’s longrunning TLC reality TV series and even though it’s been nearly two years since they finalized their divorce and both of them have moved on with other people, fans think that Matt’s cryptic Instagram caption may have something to do with his ex-wife.
“Whenever I’m feeling a bit down — I go bond with with my barn wood collection,” the 56-year-old wrote in the caption of a video where he gave fans a tour of his lumber yard. But fans latched on the to the first part of the caption, and they started to speculate why the grandpa-of-two would be feeling sad.

“Amy should be more grateful that you have created a wonderful legacy for your children and grandchildren. Also I cant stand seeing so much about Amy and her friends. [Enough] of Amy and her attitude!! Hang in there Matt!” one fan wrote, while another commented, “We all go through ups and downs. Think of your grandbabies… now that’s great therapy buddy.”
While it’s true that his adorable grandchildren bring a smile to his face, Matt definitely has some drama in his life that would make anyone feel down. He’s still navigating his new relationship with his ex-wife — and things can get awkward, as fans have seen on recent episodes of the show. Since Matt and Amy still live close to each other on the family’s farm and they keep in close contact with each other as parents and business partners, they still find things to bicker with each other from time to time.
