She’s still his “demigoddess.” Love on the Spectrum star Connor Tomlinson‘s mom gave an update on where his relationship stands with Georgie Harris after cameras stopped rolling in July 2024.
“They’re going strong,” Lise Menard Smith told TODAY.com on Tuesday, April 15, about Connor, 26, and Georgie, 23, saying that her son is a “smitten kitten.”
“He’s just over the moon,” she added about how happy her son is with the executive task planner.
Lise said that Connor got a little confused about the status of his romance with Georgie when she wasn’t returning his texts.
“He was getting mixed signals. You know, Georgie is on the spectrum too, God bless her, and her phone battery dies a lot. There’s some executive planning stuff going on. And there are some sensory things,” she explained.
Lise shared an instance where Connor thought he did something wrong when Georgie pulled away her hand as he tried to hold it.
“I told him, ‘Connor, you two need to talk to each other. You need to express how you feel in the moment, and maybe she can explain why she’s not in the mood to hold hands — because I’m pretty sure she’s going to say it’s because it’s so hot outside and she doesn’t want to be touching,’” she recalled.
While the grocery cart attendant expressed his desire to find a relationship that led to a “more physical level” during the Love on the Spectrum season 3 premiere, Lise explained that’s something that will need to come with more time.

“They’re so good together, but I think they need to clock more dates,” she revealed. “Connor is a little bit of a rule follower in his mind, it was always, ‘You need to be married in order to do that,’ but as he’s aged, he’s gotten a little bit more flexible in thought. He’s started to think about it. And I want to support him in whatever experience he wants to have.”
“If you had told me when Connor was 2, 3, or 4 years old that one day he’d be dating and talking to me about these things, I would have said, ‘You’re lying,’” Lise said of how thrilled she is about her son’s progress in his dating life.
Connor was diagnosed with level 1 autism when he was a child. Those on the autism disorder spectrum have challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication, according to Autism Speaks.
Since both Connor and Georgie live in Atlanta, Lise revealed that the duo will start having a weekly date on Thursdays starting in June.
The couple became fan favorites on Love on the Spectrum season 3 after sharing one of the most romantic moments in the show’s history.
The duo shared their first kiss underneath an umbrella. “That was amazing,” Connor said, leading Georgie to point out that it had stopped raining.
The experience left Connor so moved that he told Georgie he felt “dizzy,” so she gently held her hands on his elbows for balance and helped him sit down.
Connor revealed that he and Georgie spent Valentine’s Day together in an interview with People published on April 11. He said that they went to Medieval Times for dinner and upgraded to the “queen’s package” so they could have front row seats for the jousting match.
