The hip hop world lost a legend.

Cardi B is mourning the death of Lee “Q” O’Denat — founder of the viral video and urban outlet WorldStarHipHop. The Love and Hip Hop star joined her fellow costars and rappers in acknowledging Q’s impact on rap culture, and she posted a touching, personal tribute to the late CEO on Instagram.

“I want to thank [Q] for always looking out,” the 23-year-old rapper wrote. “Me and my management are very grateful to meet you and work with you. You truly wanted me and the KSR Group to win.”

“From [the] bottom of our hearts, thank you so much Q. We don't know how to thank you. Thank you for what you did for the hip hop culture and making people at home laugh,” she continued, then added the hashtag “#ALegend.”

Cardi, who is a self-proclaimed “regular, degular girl from the Bronx,” is an aspiring hip hop star and she’s been documenting her rise to fame on the VH1 reality TV series. Her fellow LHHNY costar, radio personality DJ Self, also posted a tribute to the late founder.

“Cool Dude,” the 31-year-old wrote on Instagram, adding a praying hands emoji.

Other rappers took to social media to post tributes as well, and many of them echoed Cardi’s message by thanking Q for supporting their musical careers.

“You are a inspiration to all of us,” DJ Khaled wrote in his tribute to Q. “Thank you for always supporting me from day one on everything I have been apart of.”

Q founded the hip hop culture website in 2005 and contributed to the genre by posting mixtapes and music videos, along with viral fight videos. He passed away in his sleep on Monday, Jan. 23, TMZ reported. He was 43-years-old.
