Lamar Odom Thinks Ex Khloé Kardashian Is a Great Mother to True: ‘That’s Got To Be One Spoiled Baby’

He’s always in her corner. Lamar Odom has no doubt that his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian, is a great mother to her 13-month-old daughter, True. “Definitely. 100%. That’s got to be one spoiled baby,” the 39-year-old told Us Weekly when he was asked how he thinks the KUWTK starlet’s mothering skills are. “There’s no doubt in my mind that she’s the best mother ever, because she took care of a 29-year-old man like he was a baby.”

He continued, “I had every candy, cookie, juice, champagne, ice cream. I didn’t need anything, and that’s just on the small scale. She made this room for me in our home. She’s an incredible homemaker, but all women in that family are.”

The 34-year-old married the New York native in September 2009 after they dated for one month. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out since the blonde beauty filed for divorce in December 2013, but following the news of his near-fatal overdose in October 2015, she decided to withdraw the papers. However, Koko filed for divorce a second time in May 2016.

The Good American designer was always candid about wanting to have a baby with the basketball player, but it never worked out. “When I was doing my fertility treatments, they were moreso for Lamar,” Khloé said during a June 2017 episode of KUWTK. “I had to stop because there was so much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage. I knew that it wasn’t the right situation to bring a child into, and I think I’ve done a lot of covering up for him, like even when it made me look like I was the problem. But I was fine taking on that burden on my shoulders because he had a lot of deeper s–t to deal with.”

The dad-of-two shared some honest stores in his new memoir, Darkness to Light, about why his relationship with Koko unraveled. “At the start of our marriage, I was unfaithful to her,” he wrote. “I could not handle the lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career and infidelity. Oh, did I mention the paranoia, anxiety, depression … I couldn’t keep my d–k in my pants or the coke out of my nose. Drug addicts are incredibly skilled at hiding their habit. I’d get defensive, and Khloé would just drop it.”

Even though things didn’t work out between the former flames, it seems like Lamar is doing just fine. “I am just a different man now,” he said. “I am good. I am in a beautiful place being sober. I am happy. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, being happy.”

And who knows, maybe these two will reunite one day. Here’s to hoping!
