Jinger Duggar Reveals How Mom Michelle Is Supporting Her Amid Baby No. 3: ‘Couldn’t Do It Without Her’
Jinger Vuolo (née Duggar) gushed over how her mom, Michelle Duggar, has been a great support after the arrival of baby No. 3, her son shared with husband Jeremy Vuolo.
The Counting On alum, 31, revealed that “grandma” Michelle, 58, is still spending time with her family while responding to a fan via a new Q&A on Instagram on Wednesday, April 2.
“Yes, my mom is still in town and has been helping me with my recovery and late nights with Finn. We couldn’t do it without her!” Jinger wrote via her Stories. “Jer’s parents just left the other day. We are truly blessed with the best family and community of support!”
Jinger — who is one of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar’s 19 kids — revealed more about her delivery at 5:37 a.m. on March 29 in a separate slide. “I got induced at 40 wks,” the former TLC star wrote. “It was the best birth experience and everything went so smooth. God is so kind!”
Jeremy, 37, and Jinger now share son Finnegan Charles, as well as daughters Felicity Nicole, 6, and Evangeline Jo, 4.
While speaking about her baby boy’s moniker in a YouTube video, Jinger said she and Jeremy were instantly drawn to it.
“We both just loved that name,” she said. “I think the name Finnegan was one that Jeremy came up with and once he mentioned it, I was like, ‘Oh, I love that name.’ It’s so strong.”
Jinger told her viewers that her newborn’s nickname will be Finn, proudly revealing that Charles is “a family name” on the Vuolo side.
Jinger and Jeremy, who have been married since November 2016, revealed she was expecting baby No. 3 in October 2024 while also confirming her March due date.
“We’re super excited,” Jinger told People, revealing she was looking forward to not being pregnant during the warm summer months in Los Angeles, California.
“I’m actually all about it. Especially in the heat the past few days, I think I’m not super big pregnant and so I’m not having to worry about the extra heat. I’m like, ‘Oh man, this is going to be such an awesome thing to go through pregnancy, not in the summer.’”
The couple also dished about his reaction to finding out they had another bundle of joy on the way. “When she told me, I was literally speechless,” Jeremy said.
“She got me good. It was on Felicity’s birthday. Jinger says, ‘I’ve got a gift for you.’ It was in an Amazon bag. So I’m thinking, ‘What did she get from Amazon for me?’ Then I open it up and it’s the positive result, and I’m actually speechless.”
Jinger and Jeremy said they were eager to share the news with their daughters in a special way so they planned an exciting reveal.
“We planned to get family pictures to announce the pregnancy and thought that would be the best time to let our girls know about their new sibling on the way,” Jinger continued. “We got Felicity and Evangeline each a denim jacket with the words, ‘BIG SIS’ on the back. The photographer captured the sweet moment when they realized what those words meant.”
