Vinny Guadagnino Jokingly Compares Sammi Sweetheart and Ronnie’s Former Relationship to Pandemic

He’s got jokes! Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino took to Instagram to give his followers a laugh during the unfortunate coronavirus pandemic. The 32-year-old posted a throwback photo of Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, comparing their previous tumultuous relationship to the current crisis.

“Corhaaan staahhp,” Vinny captioned the snap from the infamous scene in which Ronnie picks the bed up while Sammi is still in it. “If 2020 was a relationship,” the image reads.

In the comments, some of the Staten Island native’s costars praised him for giving them a laugh during these dark times. “CORONA STAHP,” Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino wrote. Ronnie himself chimed in, adding, “All fun and games until you have to practice social distancing.”

Fans also cheered on Uncle Nino’s nephew for his humor. “Hahaha staahhp. I’m dead. I watched Jersey Shore enough to remember that line and their relationship. This is too good. Thanks for the laughter,” one user said. Another added, “I’m dying. Also @mikethesituation’s comment is all the joy I need today.”

Jokes aside, the MTV reality star is taking the current situation very seriously and has spoken out about the outbreak numerous times on social media. On March 21, Vinny applauded the nurses and doctors working hard to help those who have been infected.

“Everyone has a different situation that makes staying home and social distancing very challenging,” he captioned the powerful post of healthcare works spreading awareness. “We do know that aggressive intervention is slowing virus spread for the people who are most vulnerable but also THESE HEROES who are on the front lines of this battle between the sick and a limited number of medical supplies … I don’t think these brave nurses, doctors, CNAs, and the rest of the heroes who are risking their lives are lying to us when they tell us to stay home. So let’s listen to them … ,” he wrote, urging people to self-quarantine. Despite the severity of the situation, we appreciate Vinny and his comic relief.
