Ben Affleck’s friends and family adore Jennifer Garner and they’re delighted to see them enjoying family moments together again – whilst encouraging him to take this opportunity to win her back from her current partner, John Miller, before it’s too late!

“Ben is laying it on thick, he’s giving Jen so much of himself and his attention and being so charming,” a source exclusively tells In Touch. “It’s very hard not to love him when he’s acting this way, and a lot of people are predicting that they could end up back together.”

The Gone Girl actor, 52, and Electra star, 52, were married from 2005 to 2018 and remained cordial after their split to coparent their three children – Violet, Fin and Samuel — who they welcomed during their marriage. In addition, the Deadpool & Wolverine star stood by Ben’s side and helped him enter a rehab facility the same year they divorced.

The exes’ divorce was finalized in 2020 and he reconciled with ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez the following year. Ben and J. Lo, 55, were previously engaged in the early 2000s and almost walked down the aisle in 2003 but ended up calling off the wedding and then splitting in 2004. The pair officially married in July 2022.

Meanwhile, Jen quietly started dating John, 46, at the beginning of 2018. The pair have continued to keep their relationship out of the spotlight and are rarely seen together in public. John was previously married to ex-wife Caroline Campbell, but the former couple finalized their divorce in November 2018.

According to the source, Jen is “insisting that she’s happy with John,” and only spending time with her ex-husband “for the sake of the kids.”

“But it’s clearly putting her in a great mood. They have so much history and obviously her love for him is unconditional, in a lot of ways it would make the most sense for them to try things out again,” the insider continues. “Ben has done so much work on himself since they broke up all those years ago.”

After J. Lo filed for divorce in August, Ben has leaned on the Alias star, with them even spending Thanksgiving together as they passed out meals for the homeless community in Los Angeles with the Midnight Mission program.

“In a lot of ways he is a different person,” the insider continues. “It’s hard for Jen’s friends and family not to want to see them back together because when things are good between them they are so good!”

Jennifer, Ben and J. Lo were last spotted together on December 13 supporting two of their children at a school play. Garner and Affleck’s child Fin and Lopez’s kid Emme, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, both had parts in their school’s performance. Emme’s twin brother, Max, was in attendance, as well, and even had a bouquet of flowers to give his sibling.

While not many details were known regarding how Affleck, Garner and Lopez interacted while cheering on their kids, a source told TMZ that Affleck was seen talking with Emme before he left the event.
