Sister Wives Stars Janelle Meri Robyn and Kody Brown Sell Coyote Pass Land for 1 5 Million
Coyote Pass is no more! Sister Wives stars Kody Brown, Robyn Brown, Meri Brown and Janelle Brown have sold the parcels of land originally intended for the once-polygamous family’s dream homes.
In Touch can confirm that the 14 acres of land known as Coyote Pass no longer belongs to the Brown family and was sold for a profit at $1,500,000. The brood made a $680,000 from the sale of the property, which they originally purchased in 2018. The U.S. Sun was the first to report the news.
Kody, 56, and Robyn, 46, owned 50 percent of the property, while Meri, 54, and Janelle, 55, each owned 25 percent. One of the 2.42-acre plots in Kody and Robyn’s name sold for a listing price of $305,000 on April 24, 2025. An additional 2.42-acre plot in Meri and Janelle’s name, where they share a 50 percent interest each, sold for $305,000. The third, 4.48-acre parcel of land sold for $400,000 and the final 5.19-acres was sold for $490,000.
The sale comes weeks after In Touch confirmed the land had been redivided earlier this month. Coconino County, Arizona, property records indicated that Kody and his current spouse, Robyn, conveyed a portion of Coyote Pass to Meri and Janelle as of March 27, seemingly balancing out former inequalities. With the adjustments, Kody and Robyn owned 50 percent, while Janelle and Meri then owned 25 percent each.
Christine Woolley (née Brown), who was married to Kody from March 1994 to November 2021, previously sold her share of the property outside to him and Robyn for just $10 in July 2022, shortly after their split following 25 years of spiritual marriage.

Kody originally intended to build one large house on Coyote Pass with his four then-wives and their children. However, Robyn, Meri, Janelle and Christine, 52, quickly shot down the idea and Kody instead hoped to build five different houses: one for each wife and one for him and family gatherings.
Coyote Pass remained undeveloped as plans to build on the property were placed on hold amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The building process was also delayed when it took longer than expected to sell the family’s four homes in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Things grew more complicated after Christine left the family. Janelle became the second of Kody’s wives to leave in December 2022, followed by Kody and Meri confirming their split in January 2023.
Fans have watched the fallout of the splits play out during Sister Wives, including the fate of Coyote Pass. Meri and Janelle fought for their worth of the property as Kody previously claimed that they weren’t entitled to the same amount as him. “We didn’t pay for Coyote Pass all equally,” he said during a January 26 episode of the TLC series. “I paid for an entire lot all by myself, at least 92 percent of it.”
Kody added that Christine, Janelle, Meri and Robyn only “chipped in” for the rest of the acres of the Arizona land. Kody and Robyn also revealed that they were considering selling the property. However, Meri and Janelle weren’t on board with the idea.
“I don’t think you get to decide what we do with it,” Meri said of Kody while talking to Janelle on a video call. “Sorry, you are not the head of my family.”
