Jennifer Lopez put on a brave face after her exclusion from Ben Affleck’s Thanksgiving plans, but a source exclusively tells In Touch that behind the scenes she feels totally let down and convinced the Good Will Hunting actor is one step away from reuniting romantically with Jennifer Garner, if he hasn’t done so already. 

Ben, 52, sandwiched his 13-year marriage to Jen Garner, 52, between his two relationships with Jen Lopez, which the source says has nagged at the “Let’s Get Loud’ singer while married to the Oscar-winning actor from July 2022 to August 2024. 

“J. Lo felt threatened by Jen Garner for almost all of her marriage,” the insider says, “the way Ben would run to her for advice any time they had a fight drove her crazy.” 

The Gone Girl actor stayed good friends with the mother of his three children after their divorce in 2018. He was repeatedly spotted hanging out with her amid the difficult summer that ultimately led to Ben and J. Lo’s divorce in August.

Even after their split, Ben has still found a way to drive J. Lo, 55, crazy by cozying up to his ex-wife. J. Lo reportedly spent Thanksgiving solo, while Ben spent the day with his Jennifer and their children without attempting to opt for a mixed-family holiday. 

A second source that previously spoke to In Touch said that, even though the actor loves spending time with J. Lo’s twins by her ex Marc Anthony – Max and Emme, 16 – right now Ben just prefers the company of his ex-wife Jen to J. Lo – telling the publication that for the Accountant star, “spending time with Jen and their kids is just much more comfortable than trying to do the blended family thing,” adding, “He’s so at ease with her, there’s no tension, no pressure, he can totally be himself.”

The first source confirms that J. Lo has “always been suspicious that there’s still something between them and seeing them acting like this cozy happy family again for the whole words to see has only made her even more sure she was right all along.” 

Ever since Ben started regularly being spotted running to cry on Jen’s shoulder throughout the whole divorce, intense speculation arose that the two were getting back together – enough to even freak out Jen’s current beau, John Miller, who reportedly started feeling as uncomfortable as J. Lo about the whole situation. 

For the singer, “It’s so humiliating because she feels like she was played for a total fool, like she ignored her own instincts because she wanted to believe the lies Ben told her.” 

“She’s furious with Ben but in her view it’s Jen that’s the real villain because she acted like this total sweetheart to Jen’s face and made a show of wanting to help when in reality she was running interference the whole time.” 

As In Touch previously reported, nothing much is getting done in the way of divorce details as the process grinds on. The insider says that’s unlikely to change, as “J. Lo is sick over it and goes back and forth between crying and raging.”
