Baylen Dupree has learned how to navigate awkward situations due to some tics happening at the worst times. The Baylen Out Loud star said that she was pregnant while visiting now-fiancé Colin Dooley’s parents on a recent episode, so some fans were wondering if she was spilling the news early or just had baby fever.

Is Baylen Dupree Pregnant?

No, Baylen is not pregnant — at least not yet! The TLC personality caught up with Colin’s parents, Chuck and Marlene Dooley, who were looking forward to learning more about the lovely young lady who captured their son’s heart when the topic came up during the February 3, 2025, episode. The couple were eager to tell his parents about their plans to move in together.

Baylen and Colin went to visit his mother and father in Roanoke, Virginia, and they spoke candidly about her neurodevelopmental disorder which causes repetitive, sudden, and involuntary movements or vocalizations known as tics, and how it impacts life on a daily basis.

“I’ve just had people like say things about me being a Christian and [me] saying that and then being like, ‘But look at what comes out of your mouth,’” she told them when Marlene asked about her faith.
“That’s what hurts more than anything because I don’t want to say it.”

“Jesus take the wheel. I’m pregnant,” Baylen blurted out, before smiling and assuring Colin’s parents that she is definitely not expecting.

What Causes Baylen Dupree’s Tics?

A tic can come from anywhere, including a past memory or due to an urge, and she often experiences coprolalia, or “involuntary (outbursts) of obscene words or socially inappropriate and derogatory remarks,” as explained by the Tourette Association of America.

How Did Colin’s Parents React to Baylen’s Pregnancy Tic?

Despite that tricky pregnancy remark moment, Marlene and Chuck couldn’t help but love Baylen.

“I was nervous big time because [Colin] had made it out to be really, really bad, and when she left we both looked over and went, ‘That wasn’t that bad!’ We really like her,” Marlene said.

Baylen later spoke about the awkward moment with her parents, Julie and Allen Dupree. “That’s tough!” Julie acknowledged.

Baylen Experienced the Tic Again While Moving Into Her and Colin’s 1st Apartment

Fans saw a similar moment when Baylen and Colin were moving into their Washington D.C. apartment on the February 17, 2025, episode.

As her parents discussed the “seriousness” of the couple’s relationship while putting together some of their furniture, Julie said she was seeing “wedding bells” in their future.

“I’m pregnant and I’m breastfeeding,” Baylen yelled out.

Do Baylen Dupree and Colin Dooley Want to Have Children?

“[Babies are] still on the brain. Well, not every day, but I want babies before 25,” Baylen told Us Weekly, playfully noting that “season 2” could very well feature a potential pregnancy.

The blissful couple announced their engagement and plans to tie the knot on February 11, 2025.

“Does this ring make me look engaged? We’re thrilled to share that we’re officially engaged!” she told People in a statement. “We can’t wait to take you along on this journey — through all the ups, downs, and everything in between. But one thing’s for sure, we’re beyond excited for this next chapter of our lives!”
