Uh Oh, Blake! Gwen Stefani Reportedly Thinks Ex-Husband Gavin Rossdale Is The ‘Love Of Her Life’
Watch your back, Blake Shelton! Gwen Stefani and her 42-year-old country crooner have been going strong for nearly three years, but a source says Gwen has been keeping a secret: She’s still in love with Gavin Rossdale.
According to Radar Online, the “Hollaback Girl” songstress made the shocking confession to her friends last month after she and her ex-husband ignored each other during a 14-hour mediation session. “She can’t stand Gavin because she thinks he’s a cheater and a bad dad,” a source told the outlet. “But she still insists on calling him the love of her life.”
The couple’s 13-year marriage crumbled in 2015 when Gavin cheated on her with the family’s nanny. Last year, Gavin opened up to People and revealed he would have done things differently today. “[Divorce] was completely opposite to what I wanted. Really not… but here we are,” the Bush rocker said at the time. “Apart from death, I think divorce is one of the hardest, most painful things to go through.”
He added, however, that Gwen is “incredible.” He said, “We had 20 years together and that in itself is pretty incredible. It’s a lifetime. I still think she’s incredible. It was a lovely 20 years and we have three amazing children. There were a lot of positives, and with time they’ll become more and more obvious.”
The exes share Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 4 together, but recently it was revealed that Gavin is jealous of Blake. A source told In Touch that “Gavin feels replaced. Even though he’s the one who cheated, he has some anger issues.”
The insider added, “Gavin says he doesn’t like that his children are being raised as little cowboys, with all that time spent at Blake’s home in Oklahoma. But it’s really about Blake.”
Another source said the 52-year-old sees the fun-loving country star as a threat: “The kids are always raving about how wonderful Blake is and all the fun activities they do. But at the end of the day, Gavin is their dad, and he wants to keep it that way.”
