When reality TV worlds collide! Teen Mom alum Farrah Abraham slammed Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick’s ex Vinny Tortorella for sliding into her DMs after he attended her comedy show.
Farrah, 33, shared screenshots of an alleged DM exchange with Vinny, 34, in an interview with OK! Magazine published on Sunday, March 16. The Staten Island, New York, native appeared to begin the conversation by writing to Farrah, “Morning! What’s your schedule like coming up?”
In a follow-up message, Vinny said that he and Farrah should “grab dinner and see a movie” if she had any free time. “Throw it back to an old school date,” he added with a flexing bicep emoji.
Farrah made a first attempt to shoot down the offer, responding, “I don’t live in NYC, but thank you!”
However, that didn’t deter Vinny, who told the fellow MTV reality star that he would “fly out” to her. “Lord knows I kinda need a vacation from my ex,” he continued.
Farrah wrote back, “Well I hope you get over your ex, whoever that was, and then date.”
Vinny then clarified that he had been engaged to Angelina, 38.
“I really appreciate that,” he told Farrah. “I was engaged to Angelina from Jersey Shore, was on the show with them all the last few years. Long story short, I had to end it a few months ago. But def moving on towards only positivity going forward.”
Farrah told OK! that she “didn’t even know” who Vinny was when she received his DMs after he attended her comedy show at Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club in New York City on March 13.

However, the pair did appear to have a brief interaction at the show, as Vinny shared a photo he took with Farrah on his Instagram feed the following day. The mom of one commented on the post, “Thanks Handsome for droppin’ in.”
Farrah added in her interview, “I have no interest in him and frankly am weirded out now knowing he came out to my event just to get a pic and try to hit on me.” She also claimed that Vinny “must want fame.”
“Move on, Vinny, and stop trying to get back at your ex Angelina,” she concluded.
Vinny seemingly responded to the story with a photo of a basketball player taking a shot on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “You miss every shot you don’t take.” He added a laughing emoji and a flexing bicep.
Angelina announced that she and Vinny had ended their engagement and split during the Jersey Shore season 7B reunion in January.
“We’re currently filming for another season, and [I] found out he cheated on me,” the Couple’s Therapy alum said, adding that Vinny believed she was the one who cheated on him.
“But then if you think I’m a big cheater, which you have no evidence, no nothing, why didn’t you leave so many how long ago?” she asked of her ex, who did not attend the reunion.
She also accused Vinny of using her fame to get verified on Instagram and claimed that she found out his mom and sister previously submitted an application for Vinny to join a past season of The Bachelorette.
Vinny reacted to Angelina’s accusations in a comment on Instagram, writing to a fan, “I made a hinge 2 weeks after breaking off my relationship after I found out I got cheated on again.” He also said that he was “embarrassed” about how his life became after his relationship with Angelina ended.
“Now do I gotta stoop low and post the 30 min video I recorded of her phone showing all the convos/videos/photos with other men?” he wrote. “Then almost a year later (now) the cheating continued. Maybe I will if I keep getting bothered. You know since I seek all this clout everyone tells me.”
Vinny and Angelina met via Instagram at the beginning of 2022. He later made his reality TV debut during a March 2023 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, and the former couple announced their engagement in another episode the following month.
The relationship was seemingly on the rocks when Angelina called the police on Vinny after an alleged domestic violence incident in August 2023. However, no charges were pressed against him.
“I can confirm that Angelina did in fact call the police to her home,” Angelina’s attorney said at the time. “After speaking with the officers, Angelina decided not to file charges. This matter is now closed. Moving forward, Angelina would ask for privacy as it pertains to her personal life.”
Vinny’s lawyer also shared a statement reading, “My client and Ms. Pivarnick are still engaged and are still residing together. Mr. Tortorella denies any act of impropriety that would warrant police involvement and denies any act of domestic violence occurred. No charges have been pressed against my client by Ms. Pivarnick or law enforcement. I ask that his privacy be respected in this regard.”
