Elon Musk hired a top-notch New York lawyer to take on his alleged ex Ashley St. Clair as she demands the billionaire take a DNA test to confirm he’s the father to her child, In Touch can exclusively report.

Ashley, 26, revealed Elon, 53, is being repped by attorney Alyssa Rower from the law firm Rower LLC in her amended petition for custody, obtained by In Touch.

As In Touch previously reported, last month, Ashley filed her petition claiming Elon was the father to her child R.S.C. Ashley argued the case should be heard in New York due to the child being born and raised in the state.

In addition, Ashley claimed that by Elon’s counsel’s own admission, Elon retained Alyssa for the purposes of “negotiating and/or representing [Elon] in so far as paternity, custody and support are concerned.”

Alyssa is listed as the founding partner of Rower LLC. According to her profile, the divorce lawyer has been practicing law in NYC since 2005 and matrimonial and family since 2008.

“Prior to founding Rower LLC in 2017, Alyssa spent eight years at the matrimonial firm Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan, LLP, first as an associate and then as a partner,” her profile reads.

Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan previously represented Katie Holmes, Bethenny Frankel and countless others in high-profile divorce battles.

In her recent filing, Ashley submitted alleged emails exchanged between her legal team and Alyssa.

One alleged message, dated February 27, from Alyssa read, “I am confirming to you that we represent Elon.”

One alleged email from Ashley’s team to Alyssa read, “Will Elon accept service of Ashley’s petitions, without waiver of rights?”

Ashley’s lawyers continued, “We want to avoid attempting service at the White House and at other sensitive locations. Attempting service at the White House would, in our view, be sub-optimal optics for Elon, and Ashley would like to avoid doing this.”

In her petition, Ashley claimed that before Alyssa was hired, she was dealing with Elon’s rep, Jared Birchall.

Ashley said Elon had attempted to resolve the issue of acknowledgement of paternity prior to the petition being filed. She said they tried to handle the matter without it becoming public.

In the petition, Ashley attached alleged correspondence with Jared regarding a stipulation of settlement regarding the paternity test and adding Elon Musk’s last name to “our child’s last name.”

The alleged stipulation, which was not signed, was dated September 2024. The alleged deal said Elon would submit to a DNA test within six months of the birth of the child. If the child was determined to be Elon’s child, the birth certificate would add Musk’s last name, per the alleged deal. The child was born in 2024.

Ashley redacted the month and date of the birth. She asked the court to award her sole legal and physical custody of the baby.

Her filing noted, “[Elon] and I began our romantic relationship in or about May 2023. I had sexual intercourse with [Elon] on or about the 2nd day of January 2024 and on or about the 3rd day of January 2024, in various locations including but not limited to St. Barths during which time our child was conceived.”

Ashley said that Elon was present for the birth and has had no more than three in-person visits with the child.

She said he has not expressed interest in custody of the child.

“[Elon] has never asked to see our child on any other occasion, he has never communicated to me about our child without my prompting, and he has never asked for photos of our child or checked in after doctor’s appointments,” Ashley said.

Elon has yet to respond to the petition in court.

In the case, Ashley admitted in court she was the mother to a 3-year-old son named Sebastian and fought the child’s father in court last year. The father was listed as “anonymous” in the court battle and his identity is unknown.

As In Touch previously reported, Elon was ordered to appear in court on May 29.

If Elon is the father, it would be his 14th child, after his other partner Shivon Zilis announced over the weekend that she gave birth to a fourth child with him.
