Karen Huger stepped on the Real Housewives of Potomac scene during the series debut in 2016 as the self-proclaimed Grande Dame. Being the eldest of the Bravo bunch, Karen has dropped wisdom on her younger costars, including being up-front and honest about undergoing plastic surgery procedures and cosmetic injections – well, kinda.

The businesswoman underwent continuous glow-ups as the RHOP seasons went by, but fans, and Karen’s costars, noticed a drastic transformation in her face during season 2. Karen was absent during costar Ashley Darby’s birthday party.

During the RHOP season 2 reunion, besties Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon brought up Karen’s “can’t attend” response on the RSVP and accused her of undergoing a plastic surgery procedure instead. The women also claimed that Karen gave each of them different stories, telling Ashley, “I ain’t got time for you bitches when we not filming.”

Meanwhile, Gizelle was allegedly told by Karen that she was tending to her mother who was not feeling well.

“But I found out later that you were here in New York getting some work,” Gizelle told Karen at the reunion.

“Oh, hell no! Oh, no, no, no, no. What you talkin’ ’bout, work?” Karen asked, leading Gizelle to answer, “Like, face fixed.”

Karen denied the claim and called her frenemy a “f–king liar.”

During the season 5 reunion in 2020, Karen told Andy Cohen that she got filler in her nose after suffering from occasional breathing problems.

“My nose just tilts down with time, and they just filled the tip of my nose up with a little filler,” Karen explained to the Housewives patriarch.

Fast forward to the RHOP season 6 reunion in 2021, and Karen’s changing aesthetics were brought up once again. This time, the first-ever celebrity cohost, Nicki Minaj, complimented Karen on her looks and asked if she’s had any work done.

“I always tell my age. I am 58 and I’m very proud of it,” Karen said at the time. “You know, [in Season 1] I was a brunette. I was a housewife for sure for like 20 years. I had my rebirth.”

The “Anaconda” rapper pried and asked what else she had done because her “eyes look[ed] so different.”

“I get the [under-eye] filler,” Karen admitted. “I take very good care of myself. I eat well. I exercise. I think age is just a number.”

After initially denying getting a facelift during the season 2 reunion, Karen admitted to undergoing the plastic surgery procedure six seasons later in 2024.

“Absolutely, I did a deep plane [facelift], and I just look like me – refreshed,” the La’ Dame Fragrance founder told Andy.

Ashley chimed in, applauding Karen’s body and asked if she had surgical assistance with her physique.

“Oh, nothing on the body because I’m done with the body. My body is me, banging,” Karen told Ashley.
