Denise Richards Shades Ex Aaron Phyper While Defending Decision to Wear Leather Skirt to Court
Denise Richards had her day in court amid her ongoing divorce from Aaron Phyper — and she made sure to look good!
“The person that I’m divorcing, likes to make sure that the press is there,” Richards, 55, said during a “Get Ready With Me” TikTok. “I don’t want to show up to court and lights and cameras without a stitch of makeup on.”
The Wild Things star decided on a leather pencil skirt by Gucci and a tucked-in black long-sleeve bodysuit for her “office attire” outfit.
“I know some people commented before that I wore leather,” she explained. “But, I like this little leather Gucci skirt. It’s a pencil skirt! So it’s conservative.”
She added, “It’s very hard trying to figure out what to wear to court, because, believe it or not, I don’t have a lot of suits.”
Richards and Phypers, 53, tied the knot in September 2018. In July 2025, Phypers filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
The split turned bitter after Richards — who was previously married to Charlie Sheen from 2002 to 2006 — accused her holistic healer ex of physical abuse.
“Aaron has caused me at least three concussions. Aaron has told me that he has left recording devices to record me while I was alone in hotel rooms and at my townhouses,” Richards alleged in a request for a restraining order. “Aaron repeatedly got within two inches of my face and screamed at me degrading profanities.”
Phypers has denied the allegations.
