David Hasselhoff’s late ex-wife, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, faced legal issues in the months and years before she died by reported suicide, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, on December 11, 2024, Pamela was sued by an attorney named Stacy L Sokol over an alleged $3,625 owed for work done.

Stacy explained the amount was for “attorney fees, costs, expenses and advances owing in connection with restoring an LLC to good standing and transferring the property out of the LLC.” Stacy said she performed the services from February 2022 to May 2022.

The lawyer served Pamela with the court documents on December 22, 2024, at her home in Los Angeles.

Stacy dismissed the case on February 14, with prejudice, before Pamela responded to the claims in court. Pamela faced another legal battle in September 2023.

Her married neighbors, Brian Berri and Claire Weglarz, filed a small claims case.

“Ms. Hasselhoff’s dog was off leash and attacked our leashed dog during our morning neighborhood walk on June 13, 2023. Her dog charged as soon as it saw us, tackled our dog, pinned him to the ground and bit him in the upper shoulder just inches from his neck,” the suit read.

“He sustained multiple puncture wounds that required emergency veterinary attention. Our dog had to get stitches, antibiotics and ultimately a drainage tube due to an infection to the wound developed a few days after the attack,” the suit read. “The vet bills totaled $3,067. We reached out to Ms. Hasselhoff multiple times via text, letter and Facebook, but she ignored all our attempts to resolve outside of court.”

In November 2023, a judgment of $31,57 was entered against Pamela. However, months later, in February 2024, she filed an answer in the case. She claimed that Brian’s dog bit her and he hit her dog.

She claimed he refused to provide her with his contact information at the scene. Pamela claimed that Brian’s dog had a history of aggression as “confirmed by their very own veterinarian.”

She accused Brian of harassing her in the case and causing her to be stressed out for eight months.

The case appears to have been resolved in September 2024.

Back in 2018, Pamela was sued by a man who claimed she hired him to do work at her home for $300 per day. He said she terminated him and refused to pay the balance due. He claimed she became “insulting, defaming, and harassing.”

A hearing was held in December 2018 where it was determined Pamela did owe the contractor any money.

According to TMZ, on Wednesday, March 5, law enforcement went out to Pamela’s home because family members had not heard from her. The outlet said paramedics were called after an unconscious female body was found, which turned out to be Pamela.

TMZ said Pamela died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her head. The outlet said she did not leave a note behind.

According to records obtained by In Touch, an autopsy has been scheduled for Pamela.

David, who was married to Pamela from 1989 to 2006, told TMZ, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

David and Pamela, who share daughters Hayley and Taylor, had a bitter split and were in and out of court for years. In 2008, the exes finalized a settlement which had David paying $21,000 a month in spousal support and another $4,000 in child support. Years later, the actor was able to reduce the spousal support down to $10,000 due to a change in his income. In 2017, David convinced a judge to slash the $10,000 down to $5,000.

Per TMZ, the spousal support was scheduled to expire no later than November 30, 2020.

If you or someone you know is in emotional distress or considering suicide, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
