Danielle Busby Reveals How She Cooks Healthy Meals for Her Large Brood and TBH, We’re Inspired

Just call her supermom! Danielle Busby balances a full-time job, marriage, and motherhood, so it can’t be easy planning healthy meals for her large brood. The OutDaughtered star and her (hunky AF) husband Adam Busby — who are parents to cute quints and an older daughter — certainly don’t have time to slave away over a hot stove all day. So how do they do it? Well, earlier this week the busy mom revealed her secrets: A Crock-Pot (and plenty of coffee)!

On Aug. 13, the 34-year-old admitted that she used to love to cook, but it’s become more of a chore with a family of eight — and we can’t say we blame her. “Cooking….well…lets just say it’s not my favorite thing to do anymore,” she wrote on her blog. “I used to LOVE to cook and try new recipes but a lot has changed the last few years once we became a family of eight. I actually don’t think I ever had a hard time coming up with meals when it was just me, Buzz, and Blayke…plus Blayke loves veggies and eats anything. But once we became a family of eight… and now have some picky eaters, making a meal is exhausting!! So many different taste buds and opinions I have to try and please.”

Still, the reality star mama looks like’s been doing a great job. And the Crock-Pot has definitely become her best friend. Whether it’s chicken tacos or Crock-Pot Chicken Chili, she’s using fresh, healthy ingredients and honestly, I’m inspired. If she can do it, I can cook for my single self. 

She added that her meal posting is going to become a weekly thing, and you better believe I’ll be checking in every Monday. “I get asked often… like quite often… like daily… like multiple times a day (lol), ‘What are meals you and your family eat?’ ♥ So…I have decided to create a section on our blog called ‘Easy Family Meals‘. I will be posting an Easy Family Meal (some of our family favorites) every Monday to the blog.” Can I get a hell YAS?!
