Courteney Cox is looking better than ever at 60 and a source exclusively tells In Touch her lifestyle has never been healthier as she looks ahead with energy and optimism to reprising her role in the next installment of her famous horror franchise, Scream. 

“Courteney has her routine down to a science, she gets eight and a half hours of quality sleep every night, she has three green smoothies a day and sees an anti-aging health expert for various vitamin shots twice a month,” the insider explains. 

The Cougar Town actress stunned while officiating her friend’s wedding in Australia earlier in February wearing a thin-strapped light-pink gown – carefully so as not to steal the spotlight from the blushing bride, but definitely showing off just a little.

“To keep her body toned and flexible she has a personal trainer that takes her through her paces in everything from weightlifting to Pilates to yoga, every day is something different, so she never gets bored,” the source adds. 

Proving 60 doesn’t mean you have to slow down, Courteney has been hard at work – or play, rather – keeping her social life enviable, too. “She also throws a lot of parties. She’s always got people over, her house is known as the place to have fun.” 

The source notes that, instead of chasing eternal youth, the Friends alum opted for the wiser approach as she shuns invasive and obvious plastic surgery procedures for staying as natural-, healthy- and energetic-looking as possible. 

“She was smart and did a big U-turn with the fillers and all that stuff and now consistently gets facials and laser tightening treatments, her dermatologist has all the latest treatments and her big focus is on maintaining her looks, rather than trying to turn back the clock,” the insider says.

Courteney’s new philosophy toward her health and beauty couldn’t come at a better time, either, as the actress recently just signed on to Scream 7, despite refusing to confirm nor deny the rumors in September 2024. She played Gale Weathers in the original Wes Craven movie from 1996, though the upcoming seventh installment will be directed by Kevin Williamson, who wrote the original screenplay, which Courteney said she’s “excited” about.

“You can’t get better than that choice. It’s going to be fun,” she said of working with Kevin.

A different source had previously told the outlet Life & Style the actress’ Friends costar and real life best friend Jennifer Aniston was “cracking the whip” to make sure Courteney is in tip top shape for the upcoming horror movie.

“For this movie, she’s committed to getting into the best shape of her life and looking hot as hell when she’s on camera,” that source said. “Jen is absolutely helping out in that department. Even though working out together has not been a big part of their friendship historically, it is now.”

The first source notes that Jen, 56, must know what she’s doing as Courteney’s efforts are “really working well, because she looks as gorgeous as ever and not at all plastic.”
