Sister Wives’ Christine Brown Claims She Was Left With ‘Scraps’ After Kody Brown Married Robyn

Sister Wives star Christine Woolley (née Brown) claimed her marriage to Kody Brown was doomed once he married wife No. 4, Robyn Brown, leaving her with “scraps.”

“I felt like Robyn had a better couch. I felt like she had better dishes and better decorations and like so many things,” Christine, 53, said in a confessional about how things changed in her plural marriage to Kody, 56, after he legally wed Robyn, 46, in 2014.

“Why am I left with all these scraps all the time? Scraps of time, scraps of stuff,” she continued during the Sunday, April 20, episode of Sister Wives about the relationship imbalance between herself and Robyn when it came to Kody.

The topic came up as Christine and husband David Woolley were driving to North Carolina to help former sister wife Janelle Brown move.

“I feel stronger, more independent now than I ever did before because you’re so supportive. There’s no 50/50,” the TLC star told David, 61.

The construction company owner responded that one should “never, ever keep score in a marriage,” saying that he and Christine both give “100 percent” to their relationship. The couple married in October 2023.

“They do keep score and it’s sad,” David added about polygamous marriages.

Kody seemingly responded to Christine’s claims during a confessional, stating, “When a relationship is united, you don’t tend to keep scores much because you’ve got a cloak of charity to put over this person that you love.”

“If you’re sitting there constantly using that scoreboard against each other, what are you enemies?” Robyn wondered.

Later, Christine gave more examples of how she felt there was an imbalance in her marriage to Kody after his marriage to Robyn. The Airbnb owner announced her split from Kody in November 2021 after more than 20 years in a spiritual marriage.

“There were so many times in my marriage with Kody where he was, he liked makeup. It was like you had to always, always look nice. It mattered to him so much,” Christine shared. “We’d go camping and Janelle and I would be sitting there busting our butts getting breakfast made, cleaning up the mess and honestly Robyn would be doing her makeup forever.”

Christine claimed Kody would then “praise how they looked,” as she Janelle, 55, were “sweating and slaving” to keep up with chores around the campsite.

“No wonder I was constantly wondering and constantly insecure because as much as I was comparing, he was also comparing all the time,” she claimed about the dynamic between herself and Kody after his marriage to wife No. 4.

“Robyn was up on this pedestal and the rest of us were just lacking. I felt like I was lacking in the relationship,” Christine added.

Robyn shared her recollection about the camping trip.

“The one time we went camping, I was six months pregnant, and I got sick a lot,” she explained. “I spent the night barfing my guts up outside my tent on my hands and knees. And then, you know, Janelle and Christine were making breakfast, and I was just trying to hurry and get ready for the day.”

Robyn confirmed that things got uncomfortable at times with her fellow sister wives, admitting, “I felt like when the family was together, there was unfair fighting that was happening, for sure.”

“That is a big part of the family falling apart. Was [that] there’s just so little trust with each other,” she added.

Robyn is Kody’s only remaining wife.

In Touch exclusively reported in December 2022 that Janelle “outgrew” her spiritual marriage with Kody and left him. Days later, the former couple, who spiritually wed in 1993, confirmed the breakup news during the Sister Wives: One on One special.

Meri Brown also confirmed her split from Kody during the Sister Wives: One on One special, which aired in January 2023. She and Kody legally wed in April 1990 but divorced in September 2014 in order for the family patriarch to legally marry Robyn and adopt her children from a past relationship. However, Kody and Meri, 54, continued to remain spiritually married.
