Christina Anstead’s Husband Calls Her a ‘Class Act’ After Sharing New ‘Flip or Flop’ Promo With Her Ex Tarek

This is too cute! Christina Anstead’s husband, Ant Anstead, commended her after she shared a new Flip or Flop promo shot that featured both his wife and her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa. “#FliporFlop is back on August 1 with 18 brand new episodes!” Christina, 35, captioned the photo. “We can’t wait to show you the amazing transformations we’ve been working on for season 8. Tune in every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT! #hgtv @hgtv.” Ant, 40, replied, “Stands and applauds 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 So damn proud of you!! 🤗❤️ a class act! X x.”

Fans of Flip or Flop know that Tarek, 37, and Christina are divorced. They announced their plans to separate in December 2016, and in January 2017, Tarek filed and they officially broke up after seven years of marriage. It would be understandable if it was super awkward for the exes to work together, but they seem to manage. Apparently, Ant has nothing but respect for his wife for doing what she’s gotta do!

“Awesome! So proud of you two working together,” one fan wrote in the comments of the Instagram post. Another said, “Wonderful you are both back working together, great for your children 👍. Very classy!”

Speaking of the kids, Christina spoke with Life & Style in March 2018 about adjusting to co-parenting with Tarek, and admitted that it includes a lot of “give and take.” However, she said they’re both thankful they get to each spend big moments with their children and recalled the time that their daughter, Taylor, lost three teeth in just a few weeks. She said, “Two teeth fell out in my house and one tooth fell out at Tarek’s, so it’s nice we got to take turns being the tooth fairy!”

The Christina on the Coast star also revealed that when she and Tarek first started working together after the divorce, “it was a lot harder because, you know, there was more tension between the two of us. Now, it’s gotten a lot easier.” Hopefully, it’s only become more effortless over time.
