Cardi B Shuts Down Pregnancy Rumors With One Simple Tweet

Does Cardi B have a bun in the oven? Previously, Media Take Out, reported that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 24, was pregnant and expecting her first child. Cardi, who is currently dating Migos member Offset, however, was quick to shut down those rumors. She took to social media over the weekend to slam false reports and wrote, “These fake Cardi B pages need to chill, I’m not knocked up.” She added, “I’m sooo bloody it’s not even funny.” So there you have it!

Reports of Cardi’s alleged pregnancy came just weeks after she finally addressed rumors that Offset asked for her hand in marriage. Engagement rumors began swirling in late August after Cardi flaunted a massive, white and yellow diamond ring on Snapchat. “Do you see a ring on my finger?” she cheekily asked MTV News, while waving her ring-free hand, during a pre-show interview at this year’s VMAs. Still, Cardi did admit that she is looking forward to settling down and having children in the future. “I think every woman wants that,” she said.

And it seems as though Cardi definitely sees herself playing house with Offset one day. Back in June, the hip-hop starlet told The FADER magazine that she couldn’t be more thankful that he came into her life.

“It’s been a blessing, me meeting him and meeting his friends,” Cardi said of Offset. “I see how hard [Migos works]. And that motivated me to work even harder. And I see how good things are going for them and how popping it is to be number one. And I’m like, I want that.”

She added, “A lot of people just see they jewelry and the money, but I don’t think a lot of people see how hard they work for that s—t every single day.” Cardi, who previously collaborated with Offset on their sexy track, “Lick,” also said that “a lot of positive things came out of” her romance with her beau, whom she affectionately calls “the boy.”
