On the Thursday segment of the Dumb Blonde podcast, the host took a moment to share how her life has been since it was announced she and the country singer had filed for divorce. She said her Instagram DMs have been flooded since, revealing the contents of a few of the messages.
“Hey pretty lady, I’m about to get out of prison on a 10 year bid next year,” one message read. “Please let me go out and have a time with you. That’s all I ask. I promise it will be worth it. Hit me back.”
Bunnie, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, admitted she “doesn’t mind” that the messenger is from prison. However, that doesn’t mean she was completely okay with the text either.
“What I don’t like is he said, ‘let me go out and have a time with you,'” the host added. “So that’s where it’s like, okay. So you’re just expecting me to put out on this first date. Which…”

Her co-host then joked, “I mean after 10 years he might need it,” causing Bunnie to draw parallels from his situation to hers.
“I mean, same,” Bunnie quipped. “I just got out of a 10-year bid too bitches, what are we talking about.”
She went onto clarify she was solely joking and “just cutting the rug buddy.”
Despite their split, she still calls the country star her “best friend,” describing their decade together as the “coolest time of my life.”
Bunnie and Jelly Roll first met backstage at a concert in August 2015. Their connection hadn’t turned romantic until the following summer. The two had only been dating for a month before they got married in Las Vegas.
