It wasn’t the news Brandi Glanville was expecting to hear.

In her search for answers as to what was causing her facial disfigurement, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 53, decided to go and get a sonogram.

“The implants that I have in right now, that are almost 20 years old, are no longer made. They’re illegal,” she exclusively told the Daily Enquirer, a newsletter brought to you by the editors of  the National Enquirer. “You’re supposed to change them every 10 years, they say. But I’m also, I was like, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Who wants to have a surgery, let alone an extensive surgery?”

But that’s exactly what Glanville would end up needing once the results came in.

Just one day after producers behind the Real Housewives of New York reunion series gave Jill Zarin the boot, another Housewife from the Big Apple has reportedly been tapped as her replacement. According to Page Six, Dorinda Medley is stepping up in place of Zarin, 62. Zarin was unceremoniously fired from the new series — which has yet to begin filming — after remarks she made following Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance. ZUMAPRESS.com / MEGA “In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life,” the production company behind the upcoming E! series announced in a statement to Variety on Tuesday, February 10. “We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.” The move was in response to backlash Zarin received after sharing her controversial opinions about the Puerto Rican star’s performance on February 8. “We all agree — it was the worst halftime show ever. It’s 250 years that we’re celebrating right now in the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish,” the former TV personality said in a since-deleted Instagram video. “I think it was a political statement, and I’m not taking a side one way or the other. I just do. I think it was an ICE thing.” JOHN ANGELILLO/UPI/Newscom/The Mega Agency Zarin exclusively told In Touch following her firing, “They didn’t even give me a chance.” “I took it down right away," she added of the video. "People make mistakes. I’m human." Mega Agency for The Daily Enquirer

“She called me a few days later, the woman that did the sonogram, and she was like, ‘Brandi? You need to get those out yesterday,’” the former reality TV star recalled. “She’s like, ‘You have a slow leak in your left one and your right one’s completely ruptured, and it’s in all your lymph nodes under both arms …. and that’s probably why whatever’s going on in your face, it can’t drain because your lymph nodes are clogged with silicone.’”

The technician also said “that she thought she might have saw some mold on there, on one of the implants,” revealed Glanville. “And that’s scary because, you know, I’ve never felt back to normal since the black mold poisoning.”

A few years back, the single mother of two and her sons Mason, 22, and Jake, 18, got black mold poisoning, she told the Daily Enquirer.

“One of the houses we leased, we all got very sick,” Glanville explained. “We did get a settlement from the landlord, but that’s something that we all kind of will always fight.”

She still is.

“My kids were lucky enough to move, you know, out and I had to stay there and deal with it,” Glanville said of the children she shares with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian. “I mean, I moved out eventually, but it’s life threatening. It is, and I never thought something like fun, like implants, like, to me … I don’t know one person out of my friends that doesn’t have them. So, I need them out.”

James Van Der Beek cherished his family before his tragic passing. As In Touch previously reported, James died on Wednesday, February 11, at 48 years old following a lengthy cancer battle. The Varsity Blues star was first diagnosed with the disease in August 2023 and publicly shared his stage 3 colorectal diagnosis in November 2024. James tied the knot with wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek, in 2010, and the couple share six children: Olivia, 15, Joshua, 13, Annabel, 12, Emilia, 9, Gwendolyn, 7, and Jeremiah, 4. The family moved from Los Angeles, California, to Texas in 2020. Instagram/James Van Der Beek In December, the Dawson's Creek alum sat down for an interview from his Texas ranch — which he called his “happy place” — with Today's Craig Melvin and shared insight into how his wife has supported him following his diagnosis. "I would not be alive if it weren't for my wife," he admitted. "She just has stepped up as a caretaker, as a nurse, as head of the household." James also discussed how his children have coped with his illness. "As much as I want to shield them from seeing me in any kind of pain or just stress, you know, I wanted to be Superman, Super Dad, you realize that resilience is not only something they have and can build, but it's the best thing for them," he reflected. James Van Der Beek/Instagram While James could not attend the Dawson's Creek reunion in September in New York because he had a stomach bug, Kimberly and the kids made the trip in his place. "They got a standing ovation just for taking their seats. All that love that would have otherwise been directed at me was directed at my family, and that was one of the most beautiful moments I've ever gotten to witness," James shared with Melvin. "I'm just so grateful to the fans for doing that." Additionally, Van Der Beek told Today in a separate appearance in July that his and Kimberly’s “approach was just be as honest as possible... to the degree of their understanding,” explaining “they can sense if dad’s having a tough day.” Instagram/James Van Der Beek In August, James and Kimberly celebrated 15 years of marriage. The Don't Trust the B---- In Apartment 23 alum marked the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post dedicated to his wife. "You are the most extraordinary human I’ve ever met. One day I’ll tell the story of what you’ve endured these last two years and how you’ve shown up, time and time and time again," he penned. "You have not only saved my life… you’ve shown me what it is to live. There are no words for how much I love and appreciate you. I could not do this without you." Instagram/James Van Der Beek Following James’ passing, a statement was shared on his Instagram, which read: “Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed peacefully this morning. He met his final days with courage, faith, and grace. There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity and the sacredness of time. Those days will come," the statement continued. "For now we ask for peaceful privacy as we grieve our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.” A GoFundMe was started by Kimberly to "cover essential living expenses, pay bills, and support the children’s education," according to the description. On Tuesday, February 3, the Traitors alum underwent life-saving surgery to have her leaking and ruptured breast implants replaced.

“I don’t regret getting them,” Glanville noted. “I regret not thinking they had anything to do with what was going on in my head and my neck.”
