Brad Pitt Isn’t ‘Sure How He Could Have Managed’ ‘Difficult Time in His Life’ Without Ines De Ramon

Brad Pitt has become incredibly reliant on longtime love Ines de Ramon, a source tells In Touch.

“He certainly treats her as an integral part of his life,” says the source. “These days, anytime he’s asked if he can get together or go hang with his buddies, he says he has to run it by the better half.”

The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star, 62, began dating the 33-year-old jewelry designer in 2022, six years after splitting from ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

“He’s had by far the most difficult time in his life in the years that they’ve been together,” the source reveals. “He says all the time he’s not sure how he could have managed through it all without Ines. She always manages to make things a little easier.”

In addition to his highly-publicized divorce from Jolie, Pitt has become seemingly estranged from the six children he shares with the 51-year-old actress: Maddox, 25, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 20, and 18-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, several of whom have legally filled to drop his last name. He also recently lost his mother Jane in 2025.

As In Touch previously reported, Pitt has begun to open up about just how dark things got for him while dealing with “family stuff.”

“I’ve never been suicidal except for one little period,” the F1 star recently told Esquire. “And in that one little period, I just thought — I just couldn’t — just didn’t see a way out.”

“The pain was so oppressive that — I wasn’t going to act on this, but I could feel — I could feel the cold steel of the bullet in my head, and it felt like relief,” Pitt admitted.

“And I thought, Oh, okay, now I understand,” Pitt said. “It’s just looking for relief from the pain. But I also think we have incredible survival instincts. And for me, that immediately kicked in.”
