Things are about to get ugly between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Daily Mirror reported that the two will take their custody fight to court next month and that Angelina wants sole custody of their seven children, while Brad would like a joint arrangement. Yikes!

According to Los Angeles documents, a trial judge will hear their case on Dec. 4. The actors — who do not have a prenuptial agreement — have requested more time to work out their split. Judge John Ouderkirk, the current temporary judge on their case, will be working on their case until June 2019.

The Lara Croft: Tomb Raider actress filed for divorce in 2014 after nearly 14 years together, citing “irreconcilable differences.” She opened up to Vanity Fair about her “difficult” relationship with the World War Z actor in 2017. She confessed, “[Our lifestyle] was not in any way a negative. That was not the problem.”

However, Brad’s side to the story is a bit different. In a candid interview with GQ, he spoke about his kids and how he never wanted to go to court over their divorce. He said, “Such animosity and bitterly dedicating years to destroying each other. You’ll be in court and it’ll be all about affairs and it’ll be everything that doesn’t matter. It’s just awful, it looks awful.”

The last thing the 54-year-old wanted was to see his kids dragged into their messy divorce. He continued, “It’s just very, very jarring for the kids, to suddenly have their family ripped apart.”

It seems as though the former couple is not on the same page. A source told Us Weekly, “There is no truce. [Angelina] wants what she wants, and no one is going to tell her otherwise.”

“They had a pretty dramatic year,” a source admitted to E! News, “and [Brad] wants things to remain calm in the future.”

Hopefully these two can work it out, at least for the kids!
