Blake Shelton Apparently Had No Idea Ex Miranda Lambert Was Getting Married Again
Wedding bells just rang for Miranda Lambert and her new husband NYPD cop Brendan McLoughlin, and apparently her ex Blake Shelton had no idea until it was publicly announced.
“Blake found [out] about the wedding at the same time everyone else did,” a source revealed to Us Weekly. The “House That Built Me” singer, 35, secretly tied the knot with her new hubby, 27, and she took to Instagram to make the announcement. On Saturday, February 16, she shared two photos from her wedding day of her and her groom looking happy together. “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched!” Miranda wrote. “My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for…. Me. #theone.”
This is the first time Miranda shared photos with Brendan, who welcomed a child in November 2018 with an ex. The two started dating shortly after Miranda announced her split from musician Evan Felker in August 2018.
It doesn’t come as a huge surprise that Blake, 42, did not receive a heads up about his ex-wife’s wedding to her new man, especially considering the exes aren’t really on talking terms. “Blake was not given a heads-up and doesn’t know her new husband,” the insider told the outlet. “Since they split they have had almost zero contact.”
In April 2018, The Voice judge, who has been dating Gwen Stefani since 2015, wrote a very cryptic tweet that sources confirm was about Miranda, according to the outlet. “Been taking the high road for a long time.. I almost gave up. But I can finally see something on the horizon up there!! Wait!! Could it be?! Yep!! It’s karma!!” Blake and Miranda split in 2015 after four years of marriage.

The “God Gave Me You” singer hasn’t publicly commented on his ex’s wedding, but something tells us he’s too busy figuring out his own wedding plans. An insider previously revealed to the outlet that he and the “Hollaback Girl” singer, 49, “are on the path to getting married,” but first “there are obstacles they have to deal with.” We wish them the best!
