Comedian Bill Cosby has been found guilty of sexual assault and is now facing up to 10 years behind bars. A jury found the 80-year-old guilty of guilty of drugging and sexually molesting Andrea Constand in his home in 2004.

According to TMZ, jurors heard testimony from Andrea and five other woman who claimed Cosby drugged and assaulted them over the 12-day trial period. At one point, prosecutor Kristen Feden reportedly called out the TV legend for smiling during the trial. "He's laughing like it's funny, but there’s absolutely nothing funny about them being stripped of their capacity to consent," she said.

The disgraced celebrity's last trial in 2017 resulted in a hung jury — after two jurors refused to change their not-guilty vote. Before the trial, Andrea was awarded a $3.4 million settlement from Cosby, which was made public in the courtroom for the first time.

Throughout the legal process, The Cosby Show star has maintained his innocence and claimed all the sexual encounters were consensual. Despite more than 60 women coming forward, his defense attorney Becky James also didn't seem too worried about the prosecutions' case.

"Their case is so weak they need these other 19 witnesses to shore it up," his lawyer said at the time. "There are witnesses that have died, there are documents that are no longer in existence… There are serious constraints on our ability to prepare."

A former juror from the initial case previously spoke out about the trying experience. "People couldn’t even pace," the juror explained. "They were just literally walking in circles where they were standing because they were losing their minds. People would just start crying out of nowhere, we wouldn't even be talking about [the case] — and people would just start crying."
