“Thank u, next” is definitely what Ariana Grande would like to say to the Recording Academy. The songstress, 25, went on a Twitter rant during the Grammys on Sunday, February 10, after Cardi B took home the award for Best Rap Album over Ari’s late ex Mac Miller. But don’t freak out just yet! Shortly after, the “7 rings” singer left some love on the Invasion of Privacy rapper’s Instagram to immediately squash feud rumors. Watch the video above to see what she wrote and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

“WE WON A F***** GRAMMY,” Cardi captioned her post, which featured a screenshot of Us Weekly’s article titled “Mac Miller’s Family is ‘Rooting for Cardi B’ If He Doesn’t Win at the Grammys.”

While most people thought the Pittsburgh native would come out on top, the “I Like It” singer took home the top prize for her album while making history as the first female solo artist to win the category.

In now-deleted tweets, Ari wrote things like “f–k,” “trash” and “bulls–t” during Cardi’s acceptance speech, but once she realized fans assumed she was showing hate toward the “Money” artist, she quickly explained that her comments had “nothing to do with Cardi,” and basically everything to do with the Grammys.

When a fan expressed frustration and tweeted, “Y’all invited Mac’s parents out and you didn’t give him an award. Are y’all DUMB?” Ariana quickly responded, “This. This is what I meant. Karen was gonna have a green suit made,” clarifying to all Arianators what she was referring to in her prior tweets.

Mac, who died from an accidental drug overdose in September 2018,  was nominated for Best Rap Album for Swimming, which unfortunately was his fifth and final studio album.

On the bright side, the pop sensation did take home Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener, an award she deserved.

Win or lose, we love that Ariana will always have Mac’s back.
