Hold up, is #Jana not so real after all? On Sunday, July 28, YouTubers Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau tied the knot in Las Vegas, Nevada, but as it turns out, they may not be legally wed after allIn Touch was able to confirm that the vlogging couple did not obtain a marriage license in the state of Nevada before their highly publicized nuptials. Additionally, their wedding officiant also wasn’t legally able to marry them.

According to the Clark County, Nevada website, for a couple to be legally married, the “ceremony must be performed by a licensed Marriage Officiant who has been issued a valid Certificate of Permission by a Nevada County Clerk. Having an online ordination or religious affiliation is not sufficient.” Jake and Tana’s ceremony was officiated by pal Arman Izadi, who is a member of Team 10 — but is not able to actually marry them. In Touch was able to confirm through Nevada’s online database that Arman isn’t a licensed Marriage Officiant within the state.

So was the whole thing just a hoax? Fans have been questioning the relationship since pretty much the moment the two stars started dating. For the record, so has Jake’s brother, Logan Paul. While chatting with In Touch after the ceremony, he revealed that he doesn’t think the “marriage” will last. “I give it a month,” Logan, 24, exclusively told In Touch on July 28. However, he admitted, “I’m excited that they get to do things together for the next month or so.”

That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t think the feelings aren’t real, though. “I think I have to come around,” he said. “Like, I think everyone was hesitant until tonight, like, how you do you dump three quarters of a million dollars into a wedding and not have it be somewhat realistic? I really do think they love each other. And I mean, I’m his own brother. And it seems pretty real to me, as far as I don’t know, the feelings they have for each other.”

Tana Mongeau did not respond to In Touch‘s request for comment.
