Love on the Spectrum star James B. Jones seemingly found a lasting connection at the end of season 3 with Shelley Wolfe after years of being unlucky in his love life. Although the Netflix alum was smitten with the romance, fans are curious if James and Shelley are still together after filming.

James first introduced Shelley to viewers during episode 6 of season 3, which premiered on the streaming service on April 2, 2025. He invited her to his 37th birthday at his home after initially meeting her online.

“She’s great. I really, really like her,” he explained to his parents. “I really hope that things will work out … She has a soft, quiet voice, but we have a lot in common. We like very similar movies, music, television series. We seem to have very similar social and political views.”

The evening went smoothly, and by the end of the night, the pair shared their first kiss — officially labeling their relationship with the titles of boyfriend and girlfriend.

“I definitely feel a very strong emotional connection,” he told her during the touching moment. “I really think we’re a great match for each other, absolutely. James and Shelley are still going strong post-filming. On April 8, 2025, Shelley excited fans with an adorable Instagram Reel capturing their day at a Renaissance Faire. Followers especially loved the sweet touch of cast member Abbey Romeo’s “Boyfriend Forever” playing in the background.

Abbey performed and wrote the song as a tribute to her boyfriend, David, during season 3 of Love on the Spectrum.
