Abbey Romeo quickly became a fan favorite in season 1 of Love on the Spectrum as viewers watched her fall in love with David Isaacman. With the recent premiere of season 3, fans are curious if David and Abbey are still together.

Abbey confirmed that her and David’s relationship is still going strong when she sat down for an interview with Tudum on April 7, 2025. While fans saw Abbey serenade David with an original song in the Love on the Spectrum season 3 finale, she revealed the name of the song is “Boyfriend Forever.”

“I wrote this song last summer, and I wanted to do a tribute to David, because he is the best boyfriend, and I never want to lose him,” Abbey told the publication. “My favorite part of the song is [when] I say at the beginning, ‘You’re the lion to my lioness, the milk to my Chardonnay,’ because he drinks milk and I like wine and we both LOVE lions.”

David described the song as “the most beautiful he’s ever heard” and said that he felt Abbey’s words “from the bottom of his heart.”

The couple will celebrate their four-year anniversary in the summer of 2025, and they revealed they have big plans for the milestone, which include staying overnight in the San Diego Safari Park and possibly a trip to Italy or the Bahamas.

Abbey told TODAY.com that she and David aren’t rushing down the aisle just yet because they “already feel like [they’re] married from the inside.”

“Not only do I like her personality, but she’s as sweet as all my favorite desserts, and she’s pretty and funny and smart and beautiful and lovely at the same time,” David added.

How Did Love on the Spectrum’s David and Abbey Meet?

Fans have had a front row seat to David and Abbey’s relationship since the very beginning. The couple first met on a blind date that was featured in season 1 of Love on the Spectrum. They went to a wildlife learning center and bonded over their love of lions. Since then, the couple has embarked on plenty of adventures, including a trip to Africa where they got to see lions, lionesses and cubs.

Abbey and David’s relationship has continued to grow over the years, and they each had some tips for other couples looking to keep the romance alive.

“The secret to a good relationship is that we understand each other (and) the way our minds work. We’re kind and patient with each other and we’re our true selves,” Abbey explained to Today.

David also chimed in with some advice of his own.

“The secret to a great relationship is have confidence, gather your courage and be yourself and care for others too,” he shared. “Give someone a gift to remember them by. They must feel confident. Gather their courage and be themselves by caring for others.”
