Gwen Stefani Shuts Down Blake Shelton Engagement Rumors — And Ellen DeGeneres Is Calling BS!

Do we hear wedding bells?! Gwen Stefani hit up The Ellen Degeneres Show on Tuesday, Dec. 4, and talked all things romance with everyone’s favorite comedian. The “Hollaback Girl” songstress gushed about her “sexy” man, Blake Shelton, but when it came to those engagement rumors, the former No Doubt star got a lil flustered.

“So, Blake told me that y’all are engaged now,” Ellen prodded, to which Gwen laughed, “No he didn’t. No we’re not! No we’re not!”

“Yes, he told me you’re engaged so let’s talk about that,” she continued.

“What are you talking about? We’re not engaged. We’re not married. He’s my boyfriend,” Gwen shot back — all with a smile on her face.

“OK. OK. Right. But when will you get married?” the 60-year-old pushed.

“I don’t know. I do not know.”

Ellen added, “Why don’t you ask him to marry you rather than waiting for him? Why don’t you just go ahead and ask him?”

“I feel so… every time I come on here, I think it’s gonna be like ‘I got this,’ you know? But I don’t. I don’t,” Gwen said. “But I do love talking about him. He’s awesome. And we got to do a video together! Do you see how I did that? Something that would benefit me.

The adorable couple has been going strong for over three years now, so it’s not exactly a surprising question to ask. Especially since these two still appear to be in the honeymoon phase.

Recently, Blake serenaded Gwen with a sexy, sweet tune from his Texoma Shore album — which features songs written about his leading lady.
