90 Day Fiancé season 11 premiered with a (mostly) new cast of couples navigating their journeys to the altar, including Mahdi and Stevi. After the premiere on February 16, 2025, fans are wondering if they’re still together.

Are 90 Day Fiance’s Mahdi and Stevi Still Together?

Season 11 stars Mahdi and Stevi both still follow one another on Instagram. While viewers will have to wait for the entire season of 90 Day Fiancé to air, the fact that they’re still connected on social media hints that they’re still together, or at least have an amicable relationship. Plus, Stevi posted photos of herself and Mahdi via Instagram in January and February 2025, which also points to them still being in a relationship.

How Did 90 Day Fiance’s Mahdi and Stevi Meet?

Stevi hails from Mississippi and revealed in the premiere that painting is her “passion,” but unfortunately, it doesn’t “pay the bills.” She’s a single mom of two and needed a steady income. Stevi began teaching English online, and that was what led to her meeting and falling in love with Mahdi.

“There was one guy unlike any other student,” Stevi explained. “He was the only student that would show up with a list of questions to ask me.”

However, Stevi also admitted that she was “intimidated” Mahdi’s good looks and the number of women who followed him on social media.

“Mahdi likes to appear that he’s like this really shy guy, but he had tons of girls following him and he was shirtless,” she told the cameras.

While Stevi knew she wanted to meet Mahdi in person after they began talking online, it wasn’t “safe” for her to travel to his home country of Iran. Instead, the two decided to meet in Turkey. She described their connection as “magnetic the minute they were alone,” and one week later, he proposed.

It took a year for Mahdi’s visa to be approved before he could make his way to Mississippi, and Stevi said it was the “most stressful” year of her life because they both knew that “at any moment a war could break out.” Thankfully, Mahdi was able to travel to the States to be with Stevi.

What Happens to 90 Day Fiance’s Mahdi and Stevi in Season 11?

One of the biggest hurdles that Stevi and Mahdi have to overcome is trying to gain the approval of her father. Even though Stevie was upfront with her mom and sisters about her and Mahdi’s relationship, she chose to keep it a secret from her dad.

“My dad bleeds red, white and blue, so I don’t know how he’s going to feel about me bringing a boy from a country that supposedly hates us. but now Mahdi is coming tomorrow, and I need to tell my dad everything,” Stevi said during episode 1.

She also explained that her father had previously been diagnosed with a lung disease and didn’t want to strain her relationship with him by telling him about her relationship. Stevi admitted that she “didn’t have a Plan B,” and she doesn’t know what she’ll do if he doesn’t approve of her marrying Mahdi.

TLC’s sneak peek for 90 Day Fiancé season 11 also showed Mahdi struggling with the news that Stevi is bisexual. In one particularly tense scene, he confessed that he doesn’t “think they can get married.”
