Are 90 Day Fiancé stars Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi still together? The couple seemed to hit a few obstacles in the 90 days leading up to their wedding on season 8 of the hit TLC show.

Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi Documented Their ’90 Day Fiance’ Journey

The couple was introduced to fans on season 3 of the spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. They met online and cameras followed Rebecca as she traveled from Georgia to Tunisia to meet Zied in person for the first time.

While they faced issues like cultural differences and a language barrier, Rebecca was also hiding a very big secret from her beau: she was still legally married to her ex-husband. In Zied’s strict Muslim culture, it is frowned upon to date someone who is married so he was understandably very upset when she came clean to him. Eventually, she was able to explain that she was in the process of getting divorced.

Once he accepted Rebecca’s explanation, Zied proposed during a romantic trip to the desert, and she said yes.

Luckily for Rebecca, her divorce was finalized shortly after her return to America, and she was able to immediately file for Zied’s K-1 Visa, which would allow him to enter the United States legally as her fiancé under the condition that the couple weds within 90 days. They documented Zied’s arrival and the three months leading up to their wedding day on 90 Day Fiancé season 8.

Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi Butted Heads in the States

About a month after Zied landed in Georgia, he dropped an unexpected bombshell on his bride-to-be. He urged Rebecca to set a wedding date as soon as possible, before the start of Ramadan — which is a very important holiday in the Muslim religion that is observed for a whole month by fasting, praying and reflection. Culturally, it is not acceptable for an unwed couple to live together, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

Rebecca pushed back a little, complaining that it was too short of a notice to properly plan their nuptials and she said he should have told her about the short timeframe before he arrived in America. Zied refused to budge and he even gave Rebecca an ultimatum: either they get married before Ramadan so they can live together during the holiday month or they will have to live separately during Ramadan and move back in together after it’s over.

Are Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi Married?

In Touch can confirm Rebecca and Zied are married. They tied the knot on April 19, 2020. It also looks like Zied got his wish because they were able to make it down the aisle before Ramadan started in 2020.

Are Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi Still Together?

Appearing on a June 2022 episode of 90 Day Diaries, the pair were still going strong and living together in Atlanta, Georgia. Zied revealed he’s currently working in a furniture store, while Rebecca has a new job working from home as a virtual account manager.

Zied also detailed plans of traveling back to Tunisia to visit his family. While Rebecca wanted to join him on the trip, she explained in a confessional, “It’s not possible to lose both of our incomes for a month. If I could win the lottery right now, I would 100 percent say, we would both go and stay for two months.” 

However, the former private investigator worried that once Zied was in Tunisia, he’d want to stay. 

“Do I have anything to worry about with you going back to Tunisia?” she asked him. “What if you come back, and I don’t know, it’s different?”

“I need you to trust me,” he replied. “I know this is hard for you. It’s hard for me, too. I wish the next time, we would be together. So, we talk here, we talk in Tunisia. And this is the plan, we talk everywhere, I promise.” 

The pair celebrated Rebecca’s 53rd birthday in February 2024 and they couldn’t help but shower each other with love online.

“Happy birthday my love I love you so much bakbak,” Zied commented under his wife’s Instagram post. Rebecca replied, “I love you baby.”

One month prior, Rebecca shared a heartfelt video tribute to Zied for his birthday.
