Angelina Jolie and youngest son Knox Pitt were spotted loading their car with groceries while hosting friends who were victims of the tragic fires in Los Angeles.

“Yeah, we’re having people at our house” the Maria actress, 49, said in a video shared by Daily Mail on Friday, January 10. The reporter asked Angelina if she was going to donate, to which she replied, “Yeah I will, right now I’m taking care of people close to me and having them at my house.”

Angelina and Knox, 16, wore casual attire as they filled the trunk of their vehicle with bottled water and bags of food outside of a grocery store in her hometown of Los Feliz, California. An unidentified woman helped the pair transport the groceries from the carts to the car.

The A-lister’s $25 million estate is located in between the Palisades, Hust and Eaton fires.

Los Angeles residents were struck with travesty on Tuesday, January 7, when the first fire in the county started in Pacific Palisades. The Santa Ana winds not only created a widespread path of destruction in Pacific Palisades, but expanded the Lidia and Kenneth fires, which have yet to be contained. The Sunset, Woodley and Olivas fires also broke out in Los Angeles county, which firefighters have since contained.

A list of celebrities lost their homes in the fires, including Spencer Pratt and Heidi Pratt, who recorded the moments leading up to the flames reaching their property.

“Nightmare came true,” Spencer, 41, captioned a TikTok video shared on Wednesday, January 8.

Spencer visited the property the following day to find ash covering what used to be his home the following day. However, the former MTV star turned a heartbreaking reality into a brief lighthearted moment when he revealed that the pot he used to make his hummingbird nectar remained intact.

That same day, Miles Teller’s wife, Keleigh Teller, announced that they lost their home in Pacific Palisades. The model, 32, shared a carousel of photos via Instagram while sharing the heartbreaking news, alongside a picture of the smoke hovering over their home shortly before it burned.

“Snapped this driving out … To everyone reaching out I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I’ll never forget them. Community has come out stronger than I could imagine,” Keleigh captions the post. “Pacific Palisades I love you beyond measure you are a little slice of heaven, we will come back stronger than ever. If you’re in the L.A. area PLEASE get out if you can. I wish I grabbed my wedding dress .. wish I did a lot different but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out. there are no words. THANK YOU to the first responders fighting.”

Meanwhile, Milo Ventimiglia shared the remains of his Malibu home.

“You start thinking about all the memories in different parts of the house and what not and then you see your neighbors houses and everything kind of around and your heart just breaks,” Milo, 47, told CBS News as he visited the scene for the first time after fleeing.

Milo compared the travesty to his role as Jack Pearson in This Is Us, who died of smoke inhalation after his family’s home caught fire.

“You know, it’s not lost on me, life imitating art,” the Gilmore Girls alum said.

Milo’s This Is Us onscreen wife Mandy Moore’s home in Altadena, California, caught a blaze by the Eaton fire. The Princess Diaries star, 40, home is “not livable” but “miraculously” standing,” she shared via Instagram on January 8.
