Adam Lind Says Daughter Aubree is Confused About Who Her Dad is

In any custody battle, there’s only one person who stands to really “lose” it all — and that’s the child the two parents are fighting for.

And this couldn’t be any more true in the case of Teen Mom 2’s Aubree Houska.

Shortly after Chelsea Houska revealed on the reality show that the six-year-old wanted to call her mom’s now-fiancé, Cole DeBoer, “dad,” her real dad, Adam Lind, revealed that the pint-sized reality star is “confused” about her own paternity.

The troubled father-of-two took to Instagram to explain, “BTW everyone [Aubree] does NOT call Cole dad.. Nor she’s even want too … I asked Aubree about it cuz she seemed confused … So I helped my 6 yr old from being corrupted from thinking another man will step in and take my place … Aubree is smart and she knew right away who her real daddy is… Chelsea only asked Aubree that for the drama of the stupid worthless tv show y’all are glued too… [sic]”

Aubree initially began calling Cole “dad” after he moved in with her and her mom.

In one particularly emotional episode of Teen Mom 2, the show’s resident bad boy was nowhere to be found on Father’s Day, which he was supposed to spend with his daughter.

“We called him, didn’t answer. Called him, he didn’t answer,” Aubree said.

When Chels tried to cheer her daughter up by changing the subject to Cole moving in with them, she lamented, “I wish my dad was gonna act like him.”
