Caroline Marie
Caroline Marie knew from a young age that she wanted to be an artist. Reflecting on her French upbringing, her parents encouraged her to think for herself and to never “follow the herd.” She wasn’t allowed to spend more than one hour a day watching TV; instead, she had books to read and was encouraged to engage in many physical activities, including martial arts—but we’ll get to that in a moment. The books helped forge an immense imaginary world, which inspired Caroline to start writing poetry at a very young age.
The inspiration and necessity to be creative led her to enter film school where she would work to hone her skills in the arts while preparing her for the career that would follow.
Caroline Marie’s Background
Caroline Marie, born to a Parisian father and a Brazilian mother, was raised between France and Brazil. Marie’s passion for the arts led her to pursue filmmaking in Paris, which, at the time, she believed was her path. However, as she grew to understand that acting was her true calling, Marie gravitated toward the world of dramatic arts, allowing her to explore her personality and create complex characters. She then took classes at Cours Florent, one of the most prestigious drama schools in Paris.
Her initial acting training led her to attend various academies across France, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and the United States. She lived in Paris, Madrid, London, and the UK, where she learned diverse acting techniques, languages, and cultural nuances that deeply enriched her experience as an actor.
Her acting career began with television shows such as PSI on HBO and the miniseries The Heritage. These roles eventually led her to a part in M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass, showcasing her talent for both drama and comedy.
In Paris and Madrid, Marie worked on commercial projects before eventually moving to London, where her career was reignited. She went on to star in three films, as well as short films, television series, and other supporting roles. She earned Best Actress awards for Off His Job and The Magnificence of You, and her work in What the Fact earned a Best Cast Ensemble award.

A Move to Hollywood
Now based in Los Angeles, Caroline Marie strives to make her mark in Hollywood. Her current work in films such as Double Exposure, where she plays a nurse caring for a patient haunted by hallucinations, and Blow for Blow, where she plays the role of a gang member, showcases her broad range and reveals the emotional depth she puts into each of the characters she plays.
Future projects include the thriller Corruption at the Border, a social impact film that resonates deeply with Caroline’s pursuit of becoming a valuable artist who reflects on the world we live in while bringing great entertainment to people’s homes. Machado Brothers Against Zombies is set to begin filming in the first semester of 2025 in Houston, Texas, under the direction of Rigan Machado, a world-renowned jiu-jitsu champion known for training celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Scarlett Johansson. Marie’s skills in martial arts and stage combat, combined with Rigan Machado’s mentorship, are quickly preparing her for future action roles.
Talents Outside of Acting
Alongside her acting career and skills in martial arts, Marie is trained as a ballet dancer and a horseback rider. She is also fluent in five languages, and aims to portray complex, multi-dimensional women.
Marie’s momentum in the world of cinema is only just beginning. With an already impressive catalogue of work under her belt, she strives to make an impact on both film and television, all while bringing true-to-life experience to the characters she portrays.
