While one 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 couple was making strides in their relationship, another duo was seemingly coming to an end during episode 8.

Julia Trubkina Shuts Down Brandon Gibbs in the Bedroom

After winning the couples’ row boating competition, Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs headed to check out the honeymoon suite they won as their prize.

Brandon hoped this meant long-awaited “intimate time” with his wife. However, the Russia native had other plans and proposed a deal with Brandon. “Let’s have a party,” she told her husband as they sat in robes on their bed. “After it, we have the whole night for this room. We gonna have sexy time.”

Brandon agreed to her terms, and the couple toasted to their compromise.

The ‘90 Day: The Last Resort’ Couples Do ‘Sand Tray Therapy’

Stacey Silva, Florian Sukaj, Rob Warne and Sophie Sierra attended a special sand tray session together. Sitting on a picnic blanket, they were provided with a tray of sand and a small box filled with figurines.

“You’re going to build a picture, tell a story in the sand, representing the journey of your relationship as you see it, as you feel it, as you experience it,” the therapist explained. “Sand tray therapy is a form of therapy that uses very little to no dialogue until the picture is created.”

Although the session initially started lightheartedly, Rob painted a picture of a rhino and a gold chest that represented Sophie and her mother.

“The rhino is her mom, and the rhino is worried about this golden chest instead of worrying about little baby Sophie,” he explained. “And in our relationship, Sophie’s mom never wanted to see me as someone worthy, someone good enough. And I am very hurt.”

Rob explained that Sophie’s mother was an addict and she grew up in an unhealthy environment. The U.K. native admitted she “underestimated how much” her mother’s addiction issues affected her current relationship as she didn’t know how to “set boundaries” or express her emotions “in a healthy way.”

Stacey was next to present her sand tray. She pointed out figures representing her parents and a helicopter, symbolizing her family’s constant travels around the world during her childhood. She also included a toy representing her sister Darcey Silva, explaining that being a twin has created challenges in her marriage, as Florian and Darcey share a particularly close bond.

“She’s married. She has her own life but she recently said something to Florian … said to Florian, you’re better off single, basically,” Stacey told the group.

The group had their opinions of Stacey’s confession, with Rob questioning if Darcey “had a thing” for her twin sister’s husband. The therapist recommended that Darcey, Stacey and Florian participate in family therapy.

Drama Ensues for the ’90 Day: The Last Resort’ Couples

After an intense therapy session, Stacey and Florian retreated to the jacuzzi for some relaxation. Gino Palazzolo joined him in the spa, where he confided in them that he was actively avoiding Jasmine Pineda, who was already at Brandon and Julia’s honeymoon suite party.

Florian was angry to find out about the party, as he said they were not invited. “That is f–king disrespect,” he yelled. However, Stacey quickly remembered Julia invited everyone as a group as they left the couples’ building exercise.

Julia went to the spa to gather up the rest of the cast, which Florian immediately told her it was “too f–king late.” Julia tried to explain that everyone was invited, but Florian remained adamant and wouldn’t allow Stacey to go to the party.

Julia told the group, “I’m not here for the drama,” before heading back to the party. The dancer informed Jasmine about the situation, who decided she wanted to go back to the spa and invite Stacey herself.

“No one received a personal invitation,” the mom of two told Florian. “Julia and Brandon, they won a prize and they were very cool and nice to invite everyone. They said it out loud.”

The conversation escalated to a yelling match igniting between Jasmine and Florian. “Zip your mouth, you f–king Chihuahua,” the Albania native screamed.

Natalie Mordovtseva was seemingly at the resort alone after she couldn’t get in contact with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Josh Weinstein.

“Josh and I got into a very huge fight at sex therapy and I’m afraid because I realize that Josh and I want different things,” Natalie told the cameras. “And now, I don’t even know if he’s at the resort anymore.”

Natalie told the group about Josh’s disappearance at Julia and Brandon’s party, where Brandon revealed he had an enlightening conversation with the modeling CEO earlier that day.

“Josh said, In his life, he needs stability and you’re a little too much for stability. You’re a little all over the place,” Brandon explained. Natalie was confused, asking the group what that meant.

“You’re crazy,” Julia and Jasmine answered in unison. “He told me he are afraid Natalie is gonna take his money, take his business [sic],” Julia detailed. “He told me that.”

Natalie felt that Josh told everyone “something different” about their relationship and knew this was a bad sign for their relationship.
