90 Day Fiance’s Tarik Says Brother Dean Won’t Be Invited to Wedding With Hazel: There Is ‘No Recovery’

No olive branch? Tarik Myers shockingly revealed his brother, Dean Hashim, won’t be invited to his wedding with Hazel Cagalitan in the new season 8 episode of 90 Day Fiancé, which aired on Sunday, December 20.

The TLC personality, 46, scoffed when asked if Dean would be receiving an invitation to the ceremony following Hazel’s arrival in the United States. 

Tarik explained why he still had a bone to pick with his sibling while catching up with his pal Angela. The two met up to find a powder blue suit so he could surprise Hazel at the airport by wearing her favorite color for the special occasion.

When talk of the nuptials came up, Tarik made it clear that his relationship with Dean was strained. “Me and Dean used to be super tight, but we are not now,” he said in his confessional, addressing how much flak Dean previously gave him for his romance with Hazel, 28. Tarik said he felt it was hypocritical because Dean turned around and entered into a long-distance relationship of his own soon after. 

Tarik said Dean was constantly questioning Hazel’s “integrity” and intentions, which caused them to fight. Dean even called Hazel a “con artist” at one point.

The Virginia native said he was upset to see that Dean followed in his footsteps after giving him so “much s–t.” Tarik drew attention to how his brother met a girl on WhatsApp and uprooted his life in America to move to the Philippines. 

“I’m so angry at my brother, Dean. There is no recovery,” Tarik said in a follow-up confessional, revealing they hadn’t spoken to each other in quite some time. 

Angela was sad to hear that Dean wouldn’t be invited, but she said Tarik should focus on this exciting milestone in his life and not let the drama get him down. 

As for Tarik’s daughter, Ari, the TV personality said Ari will likely enjoy having Hazel around because she has only ever seen his wife-to-be on video. 

Tarik also noted that his daughter has autism and it may be “tough” to have a third person moving into their home because of the change of pace. “I’m hopeful, but you never really know someone until you live with them,” the rapper explained. 

There is one more issue, too. Tarik has yet to tell Hazel that he reached out to their former fling Minty post-split. We’ll see how that unfolds soon!
